Nike Air Max 90 White Dark Shadow Red

Did Jeff Staple get his hands on a pair of Air Max 90′s? That’s not what’s going on here, but nonetheless it’s hard to take a look at this pair and not be reminded of his classic ‘Pigeon’ design for that most sought after of SB Dunks. Mixing a two tone grey blocking on the upper with hits of white and shadow red make for a pair that’s toned down a few notches in comparison to recent releases, but still manages to stand out thanks to the iconic colorway. Also notable is the unique material found on the white sectioning on the upper, a sort of gridded nylon in place of the traditional mesh. Check out the full shots we’ve got for you and pick these up now from JD Sports across the pond.

The x 1 project is certainly set to be a polarizing one, with a love/hate spectrum in place based on your general ideas about the sanctity of preserving the original design in collaborations like these. Nike Blazer Mid PRM Melon Crush

You may not be able to tell yet depending on the weather of your particular locale, but believe it or not spring is indeed on its way. With that of course comes the thawing out of sneaker styles, as the tough winterized designs and earthy tones get tucked away in favor of some brighter designs. In that vein comes the Nike Blazer Mid PRM in melon crush, a burnt citrus tone that is applied to the upper via the suede finish. Don’t forget the premium tag in the name either, as these step it up a notch with the materials, even letting a little extra padding pour down into the lining of the sneaker. Check out the extra angles below and grab the Blazer Mid PRM in melon crush from end clothing out in the UK now.

Nike Air Max 90 VT PRM Obsidian/Dark Slate

We’ve seen some inventive takes on Nike‘s custom Vac-Tech treatment as applied to some of the brand’s iconic styles, but this new Air Max 90 VT PRM presents an altogether new look for the classic silhouette. Constructed with a virtually seamless leather upper, the shoe takes on a vinyl-like quality that’s sure to inspire double takes in curious passersby. The visible Air unit and familiar rubber outsole remain, but otherwise this Air Max 90 is exceedingly far removed from its origins as a performance running shoe. The Air Max 90 VT PRM in Obsidian and Dark Slate is available now at End Clothing.

Kasina x Reebok Workout 25th Anniversary

The next stop on Reebok‘s around-the-world tour celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their Workout sneaker takes us to South Korea where the designers over at Kasina created a high-end take on this versatile classic. By constructing the upper with a mix of brown toned tweed and touches of leather on the heel, toe, and tongue, use of a fabric with its own long history and renewed popularity to express their respect of the Workout silouhette easily makes this pair stand out among the 14 other designs in this pack. The white logo on the profile and outsole also add a nice touch of balance to this vintage design. You can pick up Kasina’s take on the Workout along with the rest of the collection when they begin to hit retailers around the world on February 15th.  via: Highsnobiety

Nike Dunk High Premium 2012 NBA All Star Game Space Exploration Pack

The number of high-profile Dunk releases has been pretty low over the past couple of months, with sneakerheads seeming to gravitate more and more towards Nike‘s latest range of signature sneakers to get their fix. If anything can reverse that trend though it’s this trio of Nike Dunk High Premium models set to release in conjunction with the 2012 NBA All-Star game. Again coming with the NASA look, the set of Dunks is modeled after the aesthetics of astronaut gear, with waxed canvas uppers and a stenciled font with a bold military feel. Then of course there’s the painstaking attention to detail, manifested in the stellar print on the lining, the removable patches and Swooshes, and the clean icy outsole. Follow us after the jump to get a look at all three pairs, which will be available on Thursday, February 28th from NikeStore online as well as a select set of premium accounts.
