Certainly its becoming a seasonal event, we’re talking about the line-up in front of Supreme for its Fall/Winter 2010 Collection launch, which took place just a few hours ago at the apparel label’s Lafayette Street flagship here in New York City. Even though most items will be available at its online store next week, around 100 fans of Supreme just couldn’t wait that long. Some stayed in their cars over night while most arrived around 8 am this morning to get ahead of the queue. Like any busy stretch of New York City, plenty of happenings surrounded the line-up. One block over, GAP took over Crosby Street for its Holiday 2010 photo shoot. Around the corner, Nylon magazine is creating a miniature mural for its Nylon x Smart ad campaign. The festivities were such that a street vendor stopped next to oncoming traffic and set up shop. The Fall/Winter 2010 Collection for Supreme is now available at its North American flagships in New York and Los Angeles, follow by launches in its retail locations in Japan this Saturday and online store next Thursday.

Nike Sportswear had previously opened up an NSW shop inside Head Porter Plus in Tokyo. The store carried select collaborations and pieces from the NSW line. Last week, the store refreshed and reopened with the help of architect Nobuo Araki, who had also designed stores for brands such as SOPH. and Base Control. The new space is clean, bright, and retains a minimal look to draw attention to its products. Check out images of the store and a recap of the re-opening last Friday!

SUPRA has just shipped a new pack of kicks out to retailers, so do expect to see these low-top Assaults in brand new Fall 2010 colorway on racks soon. The new Assaults come in various uppers, including a wine-colored Cabernet Patent, Grey Waxed Fleece, Black/Grey Fullgrain/Suede, and Navy Seersucker. So far, we think the opulent looking Cabernet Patent stands out in the collection with waxed laces and a textured heel, but for those seeking a middle ground between subtlety and a touch of edge, the Seersucker or the Waxed Fleece (they look like brushed suede) would be your best bet.

East meets west and California’s UNDFTD has linked up with Boston’s New Balance to create a limited edition pack of UNDFTD x New Balance Sonic 574. This time around, UNDFTD brings a little 80′s sportswear styling to the classic running shoes by reworking the upper with a soft jersey material. The upper is made from a soft reverse fleece jersey loved by both spectators and athletes, and according to UNDFTD’s James Bond, it is the perfect canvas to showcase the heritage of both brands. Coloring is simple and minimal, and the bright “N” embroidered logo completes the varsity look. The collection comes in two colorways, a light grey and black, and they are sold at UNDFTD chapter stores starting today. Stay tuned for accompanying apparel!

We at Freshness celebrate innovation. adidas has been hitting hard of late with their Originals collections, and the designs that sprung from the minds of Jeremy Scott, James Bond, and Kazuki Kuraishi (KzK) continue to impress. Founded in 1924 and with unparalleled international success, adidas has a rich and storied history. And while they could simply “retro” old models in new colorways season after season, it seems that they have avoided simply resting on their laurels. A project like the recently-launched MEGA proves that there can be more to heritage than simple re-releases. With MEGA, adidas is revisiting old models with contemporary flair. We got the chance to chat with Noah Bernard, Category Manager, adidas Originals Footwear, and the conversation reveals the intricacy and inspirations behind a project that fuses old and new.

Check out the store and collection. Also, stay tuned for more updates because NIGO will be heading over to Shanghai, presumably to open the fabled and anticipated Shanghai BAPE Store.via: fash-eccentric//NIGO

Remeber the “Toxic Sea Robin” from Nike SB QS last year? This Fall/Winter, we have spotted a pair reminiscent of that with ALIFE. Albeit, it is toxic with a little military touch. Made from ultra-durable and strengthened nylon that are of the same materials used on parachutes, ALIFE’s Everybody Hi Toxic Sneakers are puffy numbers that also feature one of ALIFE’s cool kick-touches, the colored translucent soles. The hefty high-top comes in two colorways, olive with orange accents and grey with steely blue accents. These are available now online at colette. Enjoy!
