It was the first time Nike designed a shoe thru conversations with the ballers. One of the biggest complaints of the recent Blazer is the cheaply stitched tongue with foam sticking out at the upper edge of the tongue. The new/old Blazer features a closed upper tongue edge. There is an additional piece of rubber on the toe part of the midsole. Gone is the piece of fabric above the midsole as well as the extra piece of material where the toebox meets the midsole, making the blazer cleaner.
