Daily celestial freak-outs and big WHAT the WHAT ponder sessions… Who is your greatest influence with regard to your style and philosophy as MADREAL?  First, I gotta set something straight… MADREAL was never supposed to be my “moniker” or AKA … the name was only ever intended to be the title of the place I hold in the world wide web. I show my work as Derrick and I do commercial gigs via my ‘phantom’ company title MDRL creative. MADREAL was chosen as my URL ‘cause the reality of things is that this whole human experience we’re all wrapped up in is really rather crazy. What I draw and how I draw is me trying to communicate how I see that human experience… so to answer yer question my greatest influence is LIFE in all it’s odd and glorious manifestations.
