After twenty years, the Air Trainer 1 has reached landmark status of its own, and has been recently renovated. The rebirth of the Air Trainer features updated stylistic and performance elements while maintaining the aesthetics of the original. Taking inspiration from the Air Zoom Haven, Nike designers updated the new version with elements like Zoom Air, a multi-purpose outsole and internal booty construction. As a tribute to its original design, they placed the word "Air Trainer 1 Rebirth" in Morse code across the back of the heel and the Air Zoom Trainer 1 Mid was born.
