Visvim Polke Vs. Nike Macropus
Comparison photos by kookies
A short while back Team HTM (Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield Michael Parker), released the Macropus (right). Visvim released the Polke (left). Both are shaped similar to the classic wallaby. A closer look shows the differences between these two new takes at the wallaby. Both feature an updated new sole that is fairly front heavy. The most exciting new feature is the full Zoom Air II insole, those who own a pair of Nike E-Que will know the comfort of the Full Zoom Air II insole which provides a lot of bounce. In wearing tests, Kookies reports that the HTM Macropus is a bit stiff and the Visvim Polke is much more comfortable all around. New colorways of the Macropus dropped recently. Note the new colorways does not have the HTM lasered in the back and is not numbered. Not too many stores picked up the Macropus either so go hunt. Last we heard, Union NYC, Undefeated LA/SM has the Polke. We've only seen the Macropus at Alife Rivington Club. So check your local shops.
