How and when did you get interested in the subculture? I know that you have two books about toys, art and fashion of subculture.

Mickey: About eight years ago, I used to visit Japan quite frequently for my work. After a while I got bored shopping in big department stores and brand name boutiques. I started exploring small streets, especially the ones in Harajuku. When I got beyond Takeshita Dori Street (A famous tourist spot) I discovered areas which there were many mysterious and cool shops; most of them did not have any signs.
