So in a conversation with SBTG regarding the Dunk Mid, he has convinced me to give the Dunk Mid a chance. The initial thought on the Dunk Mid was that they are a little ugly. Perhaps as Nike tries more colorways and or upgrades on them they will be a bit nicer. Though the overall shape is fairly nice, the strap is a little strange, almost unthought out. In straps for the Air Force 1 Mid, the strap works and seems to work with overall shape of the shoe. The strap for the Dunk Mid doesn't seem like it's part of the shoe. hmmm... Anymore thoughts?? So it seems like every two to three months, we've been getting a new pair of Air Max 95. Last we saw the, OG Lime AM95. The upcoming is the Mowabb AM95 which is part of the Mowabb Pack. To include, AM95, Air Escape, Air Safari 87. Soon come.
More future heat from our Vancouver contributor Billy. Most of you shoe geeks already know Nike is doing a homage to the Mowabb series from a little while back. The upcoming Mowabb pack will include Safaris, Air Max 95s and these gorgeous suede Escapes.
Though not the official name for this new Air Max 90 slated for Fall release. The striking red does ring "fire engine red".
With the bball season coming to an end, baseball is rolling in and the Olympics are just around the corner. We thought we'd bring with some olympic heat from our boy Billy. These are straight up bananas.
The OG Lime Air Max 95 was recently re-released here in the US. In terms of AM95 heat, we do not usually get much. Europe usually gets all the nice colorways. Here are some more nice Euro exclusive colorways that we'll never see.
For those of of you who can't get enough of the "Currys". New Balance brings you the "Curry" M840. The leather on these, according to Billy, is 100% nicer than the premium leather on the Nike Currys (AM1, Dunk, Trainer SC).
