Diesel – DZ7093 Watch
Diesel is set release 2 timepieces for Men: DZ7091 & DZ7093. Both models possessed retro, classic lines with the latest technologies as inerts. The DZ7093 features a yellow crystal face, integrated onto a vintage style brown leather strap. While the futuristic DZ7091, with its LED display, is mobile art form for your arm. When a button is pushed, the time, which is usual hidden, appears from behind a mirror display. Another innovation is the LED is programmable for up to 20 characters and transform into a messaage. Both will be available soon at authorized Diesel retailers.

In a homogeneous culture, like Japan’s, the desire to be unique and authentic takes on a greater meaning. Hence, the constant influx of unique collaboration. This most recent one is from Japanese retailer BEAMS and UK-based bag label Michael Linnell. If Michael Linnell is unfamiliar to most, that is because it isn’t a fashion label. Instead, Michael Linnell is a mailroom supplies manufacture, with the exception that it is the official supplier of postal carrier equipment for the Royal Mail of U.K. the past 30 years. Based of the Mchael Linnell’s satchel, a BEAMS’ logo is printed on the exterior and a large “Royal Mail” logo imprinted on the interior.
The BEAMS x Michael Linnell Messenger Bag is currently available at BEAMS and BEAMS retail point in ZOZO shopping network.

Considered by many to be one of the best directors in Asia today, Wong Kar Wai’s works challenge the preconception that Hong Kong films must fall under certain genres to guarantee their success in the box office. Instead his artfully crafted scenes and intricate plot lines have won him numerous accolades, including the Best Director at 2006 Cannes Film Festival, the first Chinese director to do so.
To inaugural the release of his newest film, My Blueberry Nights, Wong Kar Wai and the trend setting retailer Opening Ceremony, created a series of exclusive t-shirts featured photographs of scenes of Americana taken by the famed director. My Blueberry Nights tells story of a young woman’s (played by Noah Jones) journey across America, meanwhile, encountered a slew of unique characters along the way. Through the photographs, however, it was as if you were on that same journey with her.
The t-shirt is available exclusively at Opening Ceremony retail locations in NYC and LA.

As Spring approaches, Freshness visited Japanese designer Tsutomu Takahashi, a well known figure within the Tokyo fashion circle. As the creative director of seesway satiate, an Indie fashion label with a well balanced collection of classic materials fused with not-so-classic silhouettes of urban style, Takahashi created a line of merchandises that is suitable for Tokyoites who desire a bit less ordinary design for their everyday wear.
A few items stood out in this most recent collection, including the VERTEX OUT Jacket, which took on the ever popular varsity jacket form. However, instead the usual wool/fleece composition, seesway satiate’s version utilized 100% cotton jersey fabric. This provided a lighter, more breathable outerwear. The jacket also has a slightly offset collar, much like a Shawl collar sweater. Another interesting good was the KNOLL IN (Short Sleeve) and KNOLL OUT (Long Sleeve) t-shirts. Again, this has a twist of uniqueness. In place of the usual graphics on a tee, Takahashi weaved into each a beautifully crocheted band, a detail that is hard to miss. The Spring/Summer 2008 collection from seesway satiate is currently available at its flagship store in Harajuku and at it online retail point.

Next to join Target‘s roster of collaborators for the retailer’s apparel collection will be the record breaking snowboarder/skateboarder, Shaun White. Hailed from California, the talented White been ripping up slopes and ride parks since the age of 14. This Summer, the pro-athlete will an exclusive collection for both boys and mens that will only be available at Target locations. The collection will feature many unique and signature graphics created solely for it. More information to come in the near future, but Freshness was fortunate to catch a sneak peek on few of items last week at Target’s showroom.

After the success of Capsule, the most recent entry to the fashion trade show arena, our friends from BPMW (Brand Pimps) will be adding another into their portfolio. Compass, which take place during July of this year in Las Vegas, will be BPMW’s answer the ever changing landscape of footwear market. Like what its name implies, BPMW hoped Compass will redefine what trade shows, especially those on fashion and trends, are about. OriginalFake continues to deliver the heat when it comes to t-shirts. The Japanese brand that is a collaboration between New York artist, KAWS, and Japanese toy company, MEDICOM TOYs, has just release two new t-shirts that are now available for sale at select OriginalFake retailers. The first of which is the Target tee, featuring the KAWS’ companion holding a target. The second is the “2 Fingers” tee which shows a hand making a peace sign but the two fingertips being middle fingers, an interesting work of art from KAWS. via: We Sold Out

First released in 1974, FABRE 74 was one of the first designs by ASICS Onitsuka Tiger oriented around the sport of basketball. It won praises for its capacity to match the performance of then regularly issued Converse Chuck Taylor during a NBA All-Star tour that year. In commemoration of Onitsuka Tiger flagship store’s 5th anniversary within the trendy Roppongi Hills complex in Tokyo. The released a special edition of the storied FABRE 74. A bold, geometric patterns printed upper made of premium leather, all on top of a rubber sole with Onitsuka Tiger’s original 1974 markings on the bottom. This is a very limited edition, with only 25 pairs available exclusively at the Onitsuka Tiger flagship store in Roppongi Hills.
