Frank 151 will be releasing their FDL (Frank Distro League) New Era cap line in select locations nationwide in the near future. However, these goods are currently available at their online boutique and the Frank 151 flagship, Frank’s Chop Shop (cuts…shaves…caps) located at 19 Essex St. NYC, NY. Each hat comes with a companion chapter of the Frank book. Chapters 29 & 30 will each be accompanied by a cap dressed in a colorway and theme correlating with that chapter’s cover. Both caps feature the Frank “F” on the front panel, while the message, ” if you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worthy reading, or do things worth the writing.” is written in script under the bill. There is also a Sneaktip x Lafayette Japan cap embroidered with an image of the Brooklyn Bridge and the words, “Way Out in Brooklyn” on the right rear panel. The excellent design on all caps is bolstered by quality material and craftsmanship.

H&M has announced that COMME des GARÇONS’ founder and head designer Rei Kawakubo will be creating their next designer collection for this autumn. Rei Kawakubo will design a women’s and a men’s collection, with some pieces for children too. Accessories and an exclusive unisex fragrance will also be included in the collection. The world launch of the collection will be at the opening of H&M’s second store in Tokyo, Japan, in the beginning of November. Launch date for other H&M markets will be a few days later.
“I have always been interested in the balance between creation and business. It is a dilemma, although for me creation has always been the first priority. It is a fascinating challenge to work with H&M since it is a chance to take the dilemma to its extreme, and try to solve it”, says Rei Kawakubo, COMME des GARÇONS.
I normally would not post H&M news here but this limited edition collection will include menswear and I’m sure a lot of you guys like CdG! There’s no images of the collaboration yet, but you can check out the CdG Fall 2008 RTW Collection in the meantime. Stay tuned for more info forthcoming! via: nitro:licious

April Fool’s Day hoaxes have become so elaborate that it has become quite difficult to distinguish between actuality and virtuality. So when some of us saw this product rendering by bag manufacture TIMBUK2 on the site of our friend, Josh Spear. We immediately thought of it as an April Fool’s rouse, so we thought… It turns out the product is very real. Meant for the newest Apple laptop model, MacBook Air. The TIMBUK2 Steve Sleeve (after the famous Apple CEO) mimics the indispensable office gear – the manila envelope. But behind the simple design, this laptop sleeve features some of the most advance designs. Following its sustainability doctrines, TIMBUK2 utilized non-toxic glue to held the sleeve together. The seams are then reinforced with ultrasonic welds. The beige, paper-like exterior is actually a durable soft shell fabric used on mountaineering apparels. The cushioning fleece on the interior is made for recycled PET soda bottles, so are the buttons.
The TIMBUK2 Steve Sleeve for MacBook Air will be release in the coming weeks. To receive updates or notification pf its availability, simply sign-up with your email address at the following page. via: Josh Spear

This rock band t-shirt is part of much talked Public School‘s debut collection. Emblem of a fictitious metal/punk band printed on “vintage” cotton (finely weave cotton t-shirt that it is often mistaken for a well-worn one). The rouse continued onto the rear of the t-shirt, with concert dates for the “US Leg” of the tour. However, there is hint of truth that lays within the cities printed on the rear. The 11 locations have the unenvia:ble titles of areas with the highest drop-out rates in America. Coincidentally, a report published yesterday, April 1st, bestowed titles onto some of those locations once again. Places like Detroit, which only has a graduation rate of 24.9%, and Cleveland, which has a rate of 34.1%.
You can find this and other Public School products at Harvey Nichols, Barneys New York, and Revolve Clothing.
