The set of watches take on inspiration from the initial three colorways of the Air Jordan XX3, including the ultra exclusive White Titanium-University Blue colorway. The XX3 Alarm Chrono watch is a sophisticated water-resistant timepiece that celebrates Air Jordan’s landmark 23rd (numbered sneaker) anniversary. The watch itself features date and chronograph stopwatch functionality in a stainless steel casing and K1 mineral glass crystal. Given the fervor over Nike’s “Marty McFly” Hyperdunk release earlier this month, a very interesting auction is currently taking place on eBay. Offer from Profiles in History, an entertainment memorabilia seller in California. The Back to the Future II (2) Hoverboard was one of the few props created for the 1989 movie (and portion of 1990’s Back to the Future III (3)). According to Profiles in History, 2 types of the hoverboard props were created, a styrofoam-base and wood-base. While styrofoam-base props have deteriorated over the years, the wood-base props (which is the prop being offer) have lasted. With real metal appendages and ball-bearing loaded footpads that actually turn 360 degrees, the starting bid is at $30,000. Despite its fringe status and the endless rotation of band members, 2 things remained constants the last 2 decades for the band Suicidal Tendencies: the involvement of founder/lead singer/song writer Mike Muir through all its incarnations and its impact being as one of first band to cross elements of metal rock and punk music. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of of its debut/self titled album, released in 1983. New Era create a limited run of its 59FIFTY caps. Each features the band’s name in white edgy fonts on a deep black backdrop.
