Just when you think the 2011 season is a wrap, adidas Skateboarding drops five new sneakers for you to set your sights on. Including the Campus Hi in a light wine colorway and 4 lows, the Busenitz, Skate, Campus Vulc and Rod Laver Vin Salas, adidas Skateboarding hopes to kick off the new year right.
The Samba-inspired Skate arrives in Black/Run White suede, but lacks the gum-sole of the Run White/Satellite Blue Busenitz. The Campus Vulc is the quiet star of the group, constructed of a Dark Cinnamon suede with a touch of light blue and white on the tongue and heel tab representing the Trefoil logo. Rounding out the group is the new Rod Laver Vin, which aside from its white volcanized mid-sole, leather heel tab and the speck of red of the third eyelet, is constructed of a Noble Green suede. Check out all five pairs in more detail after the jump and contact DQM to get your hands on them.

Just because it’s fall and winter is impending, it doesn’t mean that skating stops. So, adidas Skateboarding has the pushing taken care of with a new collection for Fall 2010. The new line-up includes the every-popular Campus Vulc in simpler, mature colorways, just as most likes it. The popular Busenitz with a larger tongue is back in maroon suede, perfect for fall, and the Gonz continues to mark his models with happy graphics. Another fun piece to note is the Eldrige Superstar, for the newcomer of the adidas Skateboarding team, Pete Eldridge. The palette is quite pared-down in general, and materials lean heavily towards suede for the colder weather.

There are not many skateboarders who possess the style and energy than the skateboarding legend Mark Gonzales, otherwise known as the Gonz. Sponsored by adidas Skateboarding and he is also known for his creativity off the skateboard and his larger than life personality. The Skate model takes similar design cues as classic Gazelle sneakers but have been updated to deliver performance necessary by today’s skateboarders. Thick tongue and cup sole insoles ensure comfort for the wearer and the wider than average silhouette provides much more space for ease of movement while skateboarding. There is an unique line drawing by the Gonz on the insoles as well that injects fun into the sneakers. via: Gettry

Spotted at the Crossroads Retail Trade Show at ASR in San Diego today is adidas Skateboarding and their line up of Spring 2011 kicks. One of the interesting items we have seen is the adidas Skateboarding rendition of the adidas Originals by Originals kzk low-top. The adidas Skateboarding version mimics Kazuki Kuraishi’s popular black and white model, but is reworked by pro-skater and artist, Mark Gonzales. In true Gonzales fashion, the low-top skate shoes are simple but brightly colored, and the insoles feature special graphics created by Gonzales. Check out the preview of the line-up, and stay tuned for more information and detailed looks as we near the collection’s release.

Yesterday, those who push (not like that!) in London and beyond brought their decks out to one of London’s coolest retailers, No. 6 London to celebrate the launch of the new adidas Skateboarding Collection. Aside from the fanfare of good company, drinks, food and merriment, adidas has also turned the space into a pop-up shop featuring the new adidas Skateboarding goods and a photography exhibition of Brian Gaberman’s work. UK adidas Skateboarding riders and even professional skater, Benny Fairfax flew into London to celebrate the new space and range.

Passion is something that follows the passionate man everywhere, and skateboarding extraordinaire, Mark Gonzales (aka Gonz), is the epitome of a passionate man. The professional skater-cum-artist-cum-poet-cum-entrepreneur has not only revolutionized skateboarding and developed it into what modern day street skateboarding is today, his contribution to the world doesn’t stop short at groundbreaking ollies (remember that iconic “Gonz Gap” in 1986 at San Francisco’s Embarcadero?). As an avid artist, Gonzales’ work doesn’t veer far from is passion. In his latest collaboration with adidas Skateboarding, Gonzales does a simple, happy, child-like doodle about skateboarding. “all day i dream about skateboarding” floats dreamily in joyous free-hand under a skateboard doodle with a bubbly blue man outline chasing after it, full of smiles. The white printed tee reminds all to revel in the simply joys of skateboarding at all times– to eat, live, breathe and dream your passion in life. The tee is now available for order online via: colette, alongside the extremely popular adidas x Star Wars collection.

For those outside may not realize the depth of contribution professional skateboarder Mark Gonzales aka Gonz have made onto skateboarding and beyond. HIs style of skateboarding is unique to say the least and this photo t-shirt made by adidas Skateboarding illustrates the type of skater the Gonz is. Monochromatic photos are printed on the front largely, either black or white body t-shirts. The only color being the light blue adidas tag on the right bottom hem of the shirt that is also matched on the seam lining on the inside neck. via: HUF
Greetings from adidas Skateboarding team for 2010 comes in the form of an energetic video of the adidas Skateboarding team (which also includes San Francisco’s HUF team riders) ripping through the streets of San Francisco. The video, Frisco Stand Up takes its team of ten (Mark Gonzales, Dennis Nusemitz, Benny Fairfax, Tim O’Connor, Vince Del Valle, Lem Villemin, Dave Bachinsky, Pete Eldridge, Silas Baxter-Neal and Nestor Judkins) down the residential hills to the water, then downtown on the streets and in the skate park, grinding their way through every possible surface, making their mark with fancy flips and some painful falls. Just the first of many great things to come from adidas Skateboarding, enjoy and get inspired to take your skateboard back out on the streets for some good old fashioned bonding.

The adidas Skateboarding line has just released a classic Superstar model with the necessary thick and durable materials. Mark Gonzales, who had a Nizza high model with his signature a few months back gets yet another signature model in a simple colorway. The upper is mostly black, as the midsole, leather upper, and shell toe have some tonal differences because of the materials, with some red contrast stitching thrown in on the sole and heel. The Gonzales signature is also emblazoned in red near one of the stripes on the midfoot. Some primal looking illustrated figures appear on the white heel tab to make this a unique release. This model is available now at Caliroots.
