Having been in the same circle of creative types for a number of years, the only thing surprising about this upcoming collaboration is why it took Eddie Cruz and Hiroshi Fujiwara so long? Right off UNDFTD‘s successes with CONVERSE Poor Man’s Weapon, Cruz unveiled the yet to be named Chuck Taylor All Star on his Instagram. While no details were given, the design looked to be predominantly red, white accents, and with logos from fragment design and UNDFTD. Rumor has it that the design might be a Valentine’s Day edition. UNDFTD and PUMA continue their long-standing relationship in the sneaker world with another take on the PUMA Clyde silhouette, this time with the Snakeskin Pack. The collection includes a premium leather upper with touches of suede near the laces while the iconic Puma claws dressed up in black and gold snakeskin. Arriving in red, midnight navy, and ice white, the monochromatic uppers sit atop a white outsole with tonal laces and tongue with the PUMA Clyde brand on the side profile. In welcoming the holiday season, or for those doing last minute Christmas Gift shopping, Los Angeles-base retailer UNDFTD will launch its UNDFTD x PUMA Clyde Stripe Offs this Friday, December 5th. As a follow-up to the design’s immensely popular introduction earlier this year, the Fall/Winter 2011 line-up continues on the stripe-less silhouette of the PUMA Clyde. Premium leather upper in tan, navy, on emergency orange, all with contrast white outsole and lux leather insole, the UNDEFEATED x PUMA Clyde Stripe Off is the ideal mesh up between a known classic and nondescript preference favored by many consumers today.  Each pair packaged with matching and white laces, the three colorways will be available at all UNDFTD chapters as well as its online store this Friday, December 9th.

L.A.’s UNDFTD is keeping it basic for its latest holiday release: a collection made up of essentials one can never have enough of, tees and socks. There are two T-shirt styles — one emblazoned with the ominous phrase “Expect No Mercy” across the back, the other bearing an UNDFTD script logo at the center chest — in a neutral color palette limited to white, black, grey and olive. They’re joined by a trio of heathered cotton crew socks in blue, beige and olive, each adorned with UNDFTD’s signature five strikes logo at the toe. Pick ‘em up for yourself, and grab extras to use as stocking stuffers. Available December 2nd at all UNDFTD chapter stores and online.

Darting across a swarth of Los Angeles night sky with his trusty DUCATI 1098, an unknown rider demonstrates the versatility of the upcoming Ballistic Collection from UNDFTD and CONVERSE. Perfectly suited for its Black Friday release, the limited collection encompasses a pair of CONVERSE Star Player High in black ballistic nylon and Academy Low with the same ballistic nylon as accents.  In addition, the collection includes A.L.I.C.E. backpack in matching stealthy black.  All will be available this coming Black Friday through all UNDFTD chapter stores and online shop.

Spurn from his successful reinterpretations of PUMA Clyde, Eddie Cruz of UNDEFEATED will launch the Microdot Collection. To include not only the already accustomed silhouette of the PUMA Clyde, this new venture will also feature the PUMA RS, a classic basketball sneakers which debuted in the mid-1980s. With the addition of the miniaturize polka-dots finishes, Cruz entails a simple stylish finish suitable for a pick-up game or a night out. The UNDFTD x PUMA – Microdot Collection will be available at select FOOTACTION retail locations starting on November 10th. Just how many ways can you design a pair of PUMA Clyde? The probability is limitless, at least from UNDFTD‘s perspective. Just a month after the release of ripstop nylon edition of PUMA Clyde, Eddie Cruz and team is ready for another launch this weekend, this time its the UNDFTD x PUMA Clyde Coverblock. Lined with leather sockliner, each of the Clyde is appointed completely in premium suede, all with a tonal color treatment with the exception of rubber toe cap in contrast white. Comes in deep red, black, grey, and green, all will be available this Saturday, October 7th, at UNDFTD retail locations and online store.

In keeping with its fledging retail empire, UNDFTD is ready to launch another collection for Fall 2011. It seems not too long ago that the L.A. base retailer first introduced its Fall 2011 Collection. In fact, it was September 1st to be exact. Though the very fact hardly matters since the demand for its goods is always high. Now with a new store in San Francisco to contend with, plus retail spots in Japan, it will be hard to keep products on shelves. Similar to the product line that came earlier, these additions took their inspirations from sports and UNDFTD’s So-Cal roots. Clean and simple silhouette with equally streamlined graphic and motif, its the perfect definition of what American sportswear is. Undefeated‘s Fall 2011 Collection – Delivery 2 will be available starting this Saturday, October 1st, at all of its retail locations plus its online store.

We reported on the UNDFTD grand opening exclusive collection that celebrated the opening of the UNDEFEATED chapter in San Francisco just last week and here we take a preview into the newly opened store. The San Francisco chapter follows the same concept as their Los Angeles and Las Vegas counterparts and its black, minimalist facade draws attention from the street. Two large windows invites curious pedestrians into a cozy atmosphere with wooden flooring and furnishing. Sneakers are displayed wall to wall on the left while apparel and accessories are neatly organized on the right. Athletic inspired mural covers the whole of the left wall and spills over the back wall. Be sure to drop by and take a look for yourself when you are in the neighborhood.

An exercise in variations and material applications, Eddie Cruz of Los Angeles-base UNDFTD devised another new rendition to the classic PUMA Clyde with Nylon Ripstop Clyde. Also known as by its acronym NRC, the basic silhouette is essentially there, with the exception of find grid-like pattern found on rip-stop nylon.  Available in 4 colorways, including a simple all-black and all-white edition, all set for a release day of this Saturday, September 10th, at UNDEFEATED Chapter Stores in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and the new San Francisco location.  The UNDFTD x PUMA Clyde – Nylon Ripstop Clyde will also be on sale at UNDFTD online store.

In a most dissonant exhibit against a floundering economy as backdrop, proprietors Eddie Cruz and James Bonds set out to open their 5th retail locations in the U.S., the UNDFTD San Francisco. Scheduled to be this Friday, September 9th, the new store front will actually take over the shuttered HUF location on Hayes Street. To commemorate the opening, UNDFTD will offer a capsule collection with San Francisco Giants‘ black and orange color scheme.  Included in the exclusive collection will a pair of UNDFTD x New Era baseball caps, both in the likeness of Giant’s official headgear, and a CONVERSE Poorman’s Weapon in black canvas and orange accents.  There is also a matching graphic tee and for good measure, a similar tee as tribute to the Oakland A‘s as well.  The collection will be available exclusively at UNDFTD San Francisco store.

After no small amount of buildup and fanfare, UNDFTD has announced this Saturday, August 20th, as the drop date for the B-Side version of the brand’s collaborative shoe with adidas Originals. This alternate model of the adidas Top Ten Hi is built with an upper made from pebbled black leather with a unique gold cast, contrast-colored leather lining and icy blue sole. A worthy successor to the 2008 original, the shoe will be available at all UNDFTD chapter stores as well as their online store.
