At the start of the year, we saw OriginalFake and fragment design team up to release the Girl Circle Pink T-Shirt. Here is the second installment from the Tokyo-based brands, and this time they have taken another piece of artwork from KAWS for their t-shirt graphic. The Girl Bending T-Shirt takes a similar route in terms of design, with the monochromatic artwork on the front and the fragment design lightning logo printed over it in blue. There will be limited quantities produced, and it will be sold exclusively at the OriginalFake store in Tokyo. The launch of the t-shirts will take place this Saturday, February 11th.

Usually when the fragment design stamp pops up in the footwear realm it’s on a pair of Swoosh’d out sneakers. Delving a bit deeper into the lifestyle category this time, they get together with uniform experiment and Clarks Originals to crank out two colorways of the crepe-soled classic Wallabee. The beloved silhouette is intact as is the squishy crepe bottom, paired with a suede upper in navy and tan on the two shoes, respectively. The collabo comes through on the alternating logo hits on the heels, with fragment design on the right shoe and uniform experiment on the left. Hit the jump for the full look at both pairs of this upcoming pack, which will be hitting for ¥26,250 at retail.

Having been in the same circle of creative types for a number of years, the only thing surprising about this upcoming collaboration is why it took Eddie Cruz and Hiroshi Fujiwara so long? Right off UNDFTD‘s successes with CONVERSE Poor Man’s Weapon, Cruz unveiled the yet to be named Chuck Taylor All Star on his Instagram. While no details were given, the design looked to be predominantly red, white accents, and with logos from fragment design and UNDFTD. Rumor has it that the design might be a Valentine’s Day edition. But with that special day fast approaching, we doubt that is the case. Whatever it might be and whenever it might be release, there about to be more information to follow soon. via: Eddie Cruz

Following their previous collaboration, VANQUISH & fragment design are expanding their denim collection to include an iPhone 4/4s case which also doubles as a supplemental power-pack. With only the VANQUISH and fragment design logos and a playful “smile” message interrupting the otherwise minimalist design, this black or white hard case provides iPhone owners with a built-in battery that can be charged separately from the iPhone itself. Given its overall look and lightweight construction, this cover is a smarter way to boost your phone’s life without lugging around any extra cords or external batteries.
Check out more looks at the VANQUISH x fragment design case after the jump before heading to the ZOZOTOWN to pick one up.

The Girl Circle graphic by KAWS first appeared on the OriginalFake t-shirt way back in 2008 for its Fall/Winter season. Three years later, Hiroshi Fujiwara is reviving the popular monochromatic graphic once again. Even though for this collaboration t-shirt, the girl is placed inside the brightly colored pink fragment design lightning logo, conveniently censoring the nude photo. Underneath the bold graphic, the fragment design type logo is coordinated in pink as well. It comes as no surprise that these are limited in quantities and the release will take place on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 at OriginalFake store in Tokyo.

The side zipper is a stylistic and functional detail that seems to be migrating from fashion footwear to sneakers and outdoor boots, and its appearance on the upcoming fragment design x Nike ACG Air Magma likely augurs a growing trend in the lifestyle sneaker firmament. Aside from that particular revision, this Air Magma model remains relatively true to its roots, featuring a mid-styled silhouette built with a blacked out leather upper and clean, simple lines. Branding is limited to an embossed Nike logo at the heel and discreet fragment tag stitched to the leather-lined interior. Both of these figures are scheduled for release on Monday, December 12th.

Following a brief detour into the wild, Nike and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design have set a course for more familiar terrain. The two names have come together to once again do what they do best – namely, deliver low-profile sneakers that are exceptionally refined in their simplicity. Their All Court 2 Low TZ, in both white and navy colorways, is built with a cotton canvas upper and signature white rubber toecap. Branding is limited to a printed Nike logo at the heel, tonal tongue label and interior fragment tab. Both styles feature white midsoles and metal eyelets, while the navy is dressed with contrast stitching. And that essentially sums it up. Their ascetic design is precisely what makes them objects of desire. Both colorways are available now at London’s Foot Patrol.
