Kanye West is unsure of himself. He’s feeling trepidatious about his abilities. The award-winning music producer and recording artist who’s known to boast about his own genius is feeling rattled. This is what Level 6 of the #KOBESYSTEM will do to even the most self-assured of men. Watch Kanye in the following video ask Kobe, “How much more successful do you want me to be?” only to hear the devastating reply: “More successful.” Watch Kanye falter when he’s asked to ponder, “Are you a different animal — and the same beast?” It’s a crucible that Yeezy isn’t yet prepared to conquer. But he’ll get there. Check out the hilarious video following the click.

Among the attendees for Kobe Bryant‘s pseudo-seminars, perhaps the guy who needs it the least is Tony Robbins. A super successful self-help guru in his own right, Robbins has long been motivating crowds with the same sort of talk that Black Mamba is pushing to help his celebrity friends grasp the KOBESYSTEM concept. In fact, in this latest spot Robbins tries to wrestle the time away from Bryant a little bit, after which is promptly reprimanded for “wasting two million dollars of Kanye West‘s time”. Hit the jump for the vid and stick with us to make sure you complete all seven steps of the Nike #KOBESYSTEM.

A system for success catered to successful people, the KOBESYSTEM is by far the most poignant motivational tool out today. More so than How to Win Friends and Influence People and certainly more effective than Oprah Winfrey sponsored program, The Secret. It is also the most humorous mockumentary with a star-studded cast. Directed by Jody Hill, the co-creator and executive producer of HBO comedy series “Eastbound & Down”, “The KobeSystem: Success for the Successful” is to highlight the new Nike Kobe VII System Supreme. Its also a nod to Kobe Bryant‘s amazing achievements as five-time World Champion, thirteen-time NBA All-Star appearances, Olympic Gold Medalist, and more… To truly facilitate an ambiance of success, Wieden + Kennedy, the agency in charge, invited a remarkably diversified group of over-achievers to participate in the mock campaign. On the list of esteemed guests who took part include one of the world richest man, Sir Richard Branson, an actual motivational speaker, Tony Robbins, to All-Pro football player Larry Fitzgerald. Introductions are not needed, Kanye West, along with comedian Aziz Ansari and Paul Rodriguez took to the sound stage. Both Serena Williams and soccer player Hope Solo appeared. Then there was the most famous celebrity yet virtually unknown among the troupe, Chinese megastar LeeHom Wang.
Look for the new KobeSystem on TV spot and various digital mediums in the coming weeks. In addition, celebrities will share their “testimonials” on the system’s effectiveness and invites the public to take part in the KobeSystem. Be sure to spread the gospel of “the system”.

In a new ad from Nike Basketball, professional skateboarder Paul Rodriguez admits he initially believed the #KobeSystem was a pyramid scheme. Thanks to Serena Williams’ advice, he now knows it’s Kobe laying down some real truths. “Truths that you didn’t even know were even true,” he adds, “Until you realize they were more truthful than anything you’ve ever known to be true.” Aziz Ansari became a true believer when he saw Kobe perform at a comedy club, a set culminating in the hilarious punch line, “And that’s why I won’t let my dog sleep in my house anymore.” Unprecedented. Finally, a third video reveals testimony from a veritable who’s who of successful athletes, entertainers, businessmen and motivators: Jerry Rice, Landon Donovan, Leehom Wang, Hope Solo, Richard Branson, Serena Williams, Tony Robbins and Kanye West. They’re all onboard the Kobe System. Are you?

The uber limited Nike LeBron 9 ‘Watch the Throne’ is the very definition of ‘cray’. With a rumored seven pairs in existence, this gaudiest of LeBron James sneakers has found its way only to the inner circle of Kanye West and Jay-Z, with G.O.O.D music affiliates like Big Sean getting their hands on a pair. It only makes sense for a sneaker based on an album so heavenly laden with high fashion namedrops to come across this flossy, with the detailing mimicking that of the Riccardo Tisci-designed album cover which riffed off his Givenchy work. The icing on the cake is of course the gold dubrae jewel piece crafted by Gabriel Urist, hands down the dopest accoutrement for some laces that we’ve ever seen. Follow us after the jump for an up close look at the meticulously made jewel piece, the icing on the cake for this wildly exclusive Nike Basketball release. via: Inside the Sneaker Box

These new images provide the best look yet at the uber-exclusive “Watch the Throne” edition of the Nike LeBron 9, created by Nike Basketball to commemorate Kanye and Jay-Z’s landmark album of the same name. The shoe is strikingly designed with a black base accented with flashes of gold at the Swoosh, heel and tongue, but the two features that send the sneaker over the top are the lushly florid pattern on the lining and laces, as well as the oversized “WTT” gold lace jewels. Both are obviously inspired by Riccardo Tisci’s album artwork, which is in turn reminiscent of the designer’s Resort 2012 collection for Givenchy. Sneaker aficionados worldwide were agog at the initial images of the Nike LeBron 9 “Watch the Throne” when they surfaced online a month ago. As much as we claim to favor clean lines and classic styling, the incontrovertible truth is that many of us are drawn to the pomp and circumstance of flashy colors and ornate design. Perhaps the sensibility of excess espoused by Watch the Throne signals the swinging of the pendulum away from austerity toward extravagance — economic climate be damned — and explains the runaway success of H&M‘s collection with the house of Versace, a fashion label that was practically the ’90s avatar for conspicuous consumption. Yeezy, whose baroque-leaning sense of style heavily influenced Watch the Throne‘s album design, was recently spotted wearing a jacket from the line, and we can’t help observe the perfect footwear to finish the look would have been a pair of these special edition LeBron 9s. The rumor is there are only seven of these beauties in existence, one pair of which is now in the possession of rapper Big Sean, who’s currently opening for Kanye and Jay-Z on the Watch the Throne tour. “There are music fans. And there are true fans. Which one are you?” So blatantly asked VOYR, a video diary kept by Kanye West while navigating the globe with Jay-Z on their Watch The Throne tour. It is just a mere tool for the duo to reconnect with their fans, VOYR in a unfettered portal to the true “going-ons” of a concert tour, an all-access pass to today’s music industry as a whole. There is no celebratory Champagne every night and waking up to a different lingerie model each morning. What you will get is an insider prospective, the good, the bad, and the ugly all roll into one. So the questions once again, are you just a fan or a true fan?

“This is luxury rap,” announced Kanye West on the song “Otis.” His collaborative album with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne, signaled its intent early on, with a lavish gilded cover provided by GIVENCHY designer Riccardo Tisci. This wasn’t a mere hip hop album, this was a global event. That sense of maximalism extends to the Watch the Throne tour, which rolls into Miami’s American Airlines Arena tonight, on loan from the idle Miami Heat. Since Jay-Z is hoarding the spotlight in his buddy LeBron James‘ house, it’s only fair that the rapper return the favor by allowing King James to borrow Watch the Throne‘s regal design for use on a pair of his signature shoes. The Nike LeBron 9 “Watch the Throne” is luxury footwear, done up in black with intricate album artwork showing up at the lining and laces. Decorative accents include a gleaming gold Swoosh and an ornate, spiky lace jewel seemingly ripped right off the album cover. Slip these on, lace them up and you’ll feel more than worthy of a throne.
