This past weekend Kid Cudi showed off a pair of Nike MAGs at Siren Studios in Hollywood for a party celebrating the rapper’s third Complex cover in three years. Hosted by Bacardi and Complex, the bash featured beats courtesy of actor/DJ Clark Duke, as well as a special live performance by The Knux, who were joined onstage by Cudi himself for the song “Run.” Guests included Superbad‘s Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Cudi’s How to Make It in America castmates Bryan Greenberg and Victor Rasuk. Plenty of celebrity sighting from last evening’s Fashion’s Night Out festivities, though one stood out was Kid Cudi‘s impromptu appearance at Nike Sportswear. Added to his other favorite haunts in SoHo, including BAPE New York and the newly opened Surface To Air flagship, the rapper/actor swung by Nike’s 21 Mercer location to see Nike MAG 2011 in person. A self-professed sneakerholic, little surprise the original Rager immediately proclaimed his love for the electroluminescent wonder from Nike.

Kanye West has released his Hype Williams-directed “All of the Lights”, the fourth single off of his critically acclaimed My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy music video that features Rihanna and Kid Cudi who have notable features on the record. The song itself actually features vocals by a number of artists including Alicia Keys, John Legend, The-Dream, Fergie, Elton John, Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, and more. The music video is another outlet for Kanye and Hype Williams to showcase their creativity and desire to create imagery that parallels the music; the result is an unbelievable music video. After a whirlwind mayhem at BAPE New York, Kid Cudi moved the rage over to the Windy City’s RSVP Gallery and held an in-store signing of his latest album, “Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager”, to celebrate the highly anticipated release. Almost 400 strong showed and, and some hailed from as far as Arkansas to show Cudi some love, and after the signing, the album release party kept its boogie down with Superfunparty. The studded attendance include Chuck Inglish of the Cool Kids, Million $ Mano, who manned the turntables. Check out a video recap of the party!

With a few more hours to go before a facebook attempts to revolutionize the Internet again (with a new full-service email launch), it seems as though next week promises everything great to happen in the world. But before we leap into the unknowns of facebook email, and try to deal with facebook’s gradual take over of our social lives as well as inbox, let’s recap all things great and small which happened this week. In New York City, Supreme has finally released its first fresh collaborative shoe (a brand new model) with Nike, and Kid Cudi held an impromptu performance at BAPE Store New York, which would have almost erupted into another riot. Meanwhile, moving uptown, Ralph Lauren closed off a block around its mansion and put on a spectacular light show in celebration of its 10 years in digital experience, and another American great, Levi’s opened up a fresh concept store in the chic nightcrawler’s favorite Meatpacking District. TRON: Legacy continues to command our attention with new trailers and new boots, and last but not least, GQ shared a great insider look at what happened behind the scenes of its recent controversial shoot with the Gleekers.

Yesterday, Kid Cudi surprised fans (both his and BAPE’s) at BAPE Store New York, with a special performance, accompanying the launch of the new BAPE “Rager” T-Shirt, which celebrates the release of his upcoming album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Keeping up with our Cudi buddy, Complex had decided to sort through Cudi’s shining footwear moments, and selected 30 looks which included the classic Clark Wallabees, the Air Jordan Retro IV Laser, and the BAPE Crape. Versatile much? Definitely both in song and in kicks. For the full rundown of his best sneaker looks, check out the article on Complex.

“Dang son! You gonna miss CuDi!” as a fan shouted into his cellphone yesterday evening in front of BAPE New York. To coincide with KiD CuDi’s sophomore album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, long time supporter (and former employer) A Bathing Ape released a limited edition KiD CuDi The Rager T-Shirt at its SoHo location yesterday. And though no formal announcement was made, most CuDi fans intuitively knew the artist would make a special appearance. The queue started the night before around 9:45 pm with a few die-hards braved near zero temperature overnight to claim their spot. Most came around the early morning hours between 7 to 10 am. By late afternoon, the line-up swelled to near 1000 people, and it was long before they took up not one but both sides of the street. To alleviate boredom and the cold, fans started a festive routine, cheering any UPS trucks or cyclists rolling down the already busy Greene Street. Then around 6:45 pm, a customized pick-up truck rolled around the corner to the squeals of gals and shouts of guys. Knowing how long his fans waited in the cold, CuDi wasted no time and begin performing hits from past, present, and beyond, all to the echoing sound of the participating audience.
*NOTE* For those holding a raffle ticket from last night. Be sure to check BAPE US website today to see if you are the winner.

Kid CuDi performed in front of a sold out crowd at Barton Hall at Cornell University over the weekend. CuDi whose new album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, drops tomorrow, Novemer 9th. In celebration of Kid Cudi’s upcoming sophomore album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager, BAPE had created a special limited edition Kid Cudi Rager T-Shirt to commemorate the occasion. The t-shirt features whiz Cudi in all his pent up rage, an awesome biker jacket layered over what seems like a BAPE hoodie, shades, and some Bape Sta kicks. “The Rager” adorns the sleeve in a drippy B-movie horror font. The t-shirt will be available only at BAPE Store NY starting November 9, and sadly, phone orders will not be accepted so for those who want one, get a move on.

Few names scream “hip-hop” as loudly as Pete Rock, who in interviews said that he was thrilled that he was chosen to produce two tracks on the forthcoming from Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. It’s not yet clear if this track will be on the album, yet this has throwback written all over it, with an-all star cast of Jay-Z, Curtis Mayfield, Kid Cudi, and Charlie Wilson. Pete Rock contributes his trademark ad-libs over his sparsely-constructed Curtis sample. These G.O.O.D. Friday releases have featured a slew of guest spots, but this one is a old schooler’s dream with Jay-Z and Kanye spittin’ over a Pete Rock banger. Download the track after the jump.

For Complex’s upcoming October/November issue, music’s coolest whiz kid, Kid Cudi, had once again graced the cover of the magazine. Complex discusses various topics such as Wale (controversy ensues), “emo” raps, doing drugs, and hitting a fan. The new cover story gives us a look into the Kid Cudi’s mind, and he is quite straightforward and honest in this close to bare-it-all interview, especially when it comes to handling the controversial topics. Check out the feature which is now live online at Complex, and be on the look out for the issue when it hit stands later.

Kanye West continues to deliver on his “G.O.O.D. Friday” promise by releasing new music every Friday until Christmas of this year. Early this morning, after Kanye shut down the Boom Boom Room in New York after attending a number of the Fashion’s Night Out parties he released this track featuring his G.O.O.D. Music artists Common, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Charlie Wilson, and the newly signed Pusha T. The new song ironically is titled, “G.O.O.D. Friday” and features a verse from each of the rappers with Charlie Wilson on the hook. Listen and download the song after the jump…
