Nike SB Paul Rodriguez V Lunarlon | Video

There is no doubt about the popularity of Paul Rodriguez and Nike SB have capitalized on this by producing a promotional campaign. Although the V Lunarlon sneakers are not exactly new, the new video campaign is designed to reiterate the functionality of the technical skateboarding shoes. Thanks to the Lunarlon soles in the heel, these sneakers are lightweight, yet provides cushioning to absorb the shock of landing a huge trick. The proof is in the pudding, as Rodriguez shows us how these shoes perform in the promotional video after the jump.

Nike SB Eric Koston 1 Vintage Green/Metallic Silver

Back before locked down his own signature silhouette, his Dunk models stayed repping the flossier end of the spectrum, generally dipped in gold to some degree. Now that he’s got a bit more room to roam via the Nike SB Eric Koston 1, we’re seeing his lineup diversify a considerable amount. The latest colorway shown here goes for a deep green on the suede upper, grabbing a pale silver to give them just a bit of pop. Can you appreciate the laid back look or do you prefer your Koston’s with that flashy appeal? Continue reading to get the full photos to make up your mind and be on the lookout for these at SB accounts like Premier.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Quickstrike – “Shrimp” February 2012 | Preview

We suppose the barbecue grill design on the tongue and shrimp embroidery at the heel could possibly point — in a roundabout fashion — to an Australian connection, but we don’t know for sure. There isn’t much we do know about this particular Dunk Low at the moment, other than it’s an upcoming Nike SB Quickstrike release (possibly scheduled for next month) that features a nicely understated design: black leather upper, contrasting red leather Swoosh and light grey outsole. The final ingredient is alternate laces in a light pink hue. We’ll suppress the urge to sign off with a hearty “G’day, mate,” and instead encourage you to click through for additional looks. via: PLA Skateboarding

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Dark Slate/Sandalwood

Coming off the heels of the Premium edition, the Nike SB continues to show its versatility with another Mid arriving in a Dark Slate/Sandalwood colorway. The shoe’s upper sports a dark slate blue canvas that contrasts nicely with the brown suede inner, tongue, toe, and heel. A white Swoosh and vulcanized mid-sole with a gum bottom round out the look of this sneaker giving it nice crossover appeal capable of fitting with a range of outfits. Expect this new Mid to begin to hitting retailers as a part of their upcoming February releases.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Crown Royal April 2012 | Preview

Intended as a celebratory edition to England’s King George VI, his wife Queen Elizabeth, and the royal couple’s 1939 visit to Canada, Crown Royal was quite a rarity outside of Canada till 1964 when bulk exportation started. Still made in Canada today, its blended whiskey process and unique taste are now symbolism of the Maple Leaf nation, much like how Bourbon Whiskey’s association with America.

As follow-up to last March’s Dunk Low Pro SB “Jameson” edition, its reported that Nike Skateboarding is set to release the “” version this April, though a March release date is also possible. No words if the alcohol’s ubiquitous velvet tote will be available with the sneakers as well. via: N-SB

Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 6 | Preview

For years we’ve heard rumors about ’s plans to revamp its Nike Skateboarding product line. That is about to come true next year with the introduction of 6. While similar alterations have already took place on the signatures of Janoski, Koston, and most recently, Omar Salazar. The changes on the Paul Rodriguez 6 will be more notable simply because of Rodriguez’s popularity. It also round off all four signature footwear on ’s product portfolio.

Overall, the differences between the current Paul Rodriguez 5 and the 6 are quite minute. There won’t be any changes to its Lunarlon cushion midsole. But designers added a plastic heel counter, much in the likeness of Air Huarache’s.  The vents have become larger as well.  Another significant change isn’t performance related but more of branding instead. Rather than the typical “Nike SB”, it will just be “Nike” on the tongue tab now.  The Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 6 will be available Fall of 2012. via: N-SB

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Mid Premium Inuit

An awkward metaphor, perhaps, but the Nike SB Janoski is a sneaker that wears its influence on its sleeve. Its unmistakable topsider detailing made the shoe easy to wear outside the skatepark, making the model a top seller for ’s skateboarding division. The upcoming Janoski Mid Premium “Inuit” layers yet another design inspiration in the form of a winterized boot. The January quickstrike release is crafted with an obsidian leather upper and features D-ring lacing, brown piping and warm sherpa-lined interior. The shoe probably isn’t equipped to handle conditions in the Arctic Circle (notwithstanding the nickname), but it packs enough insulation for a standard winter day.
