The perennial event returns this month as Michael Dupouy, the creative maestro of La MJC, makes his annual pilgrimage for the release of ALL GONE 2011. One of the first stop on this thousand-mile book tour was ageless port-of-call for creative types, Amsterdam, and the trendsetting shop of Patta, where Dupouy was on-hand to sign select copies. Along with shop’s own Masta Lee, fans took the opportunity to see the annual catalog of ultimate consumerism first hand. In between sipping drinks and chatting with friends, revelers also get to chat with Dupouy and smile for the camera from 60/62.

With ASICS picking up considerable steam stateside in 2011 thanks to the ongoing Ronnie Fieg collaborations, the pressure is on the heavy hitters in the Euro-sneaker to answer back. The good news is this isn’t Patta’s first rodeo, with their upcoming Gel Saga release marking their third get together with ASICS. The clean Dutch colorway gets its inspiration from Amsterdam’s city flag, with the black and red portions pairing up with some X-ed out accents throughout the sneaker. Characteristic of Patta releases, these won’t be very easy to get your hands on, with only 400 pairs dropping worldwide, the vast majority of which will be onsite at their shop in Amsterdam on December 22nd. Amsterdam’s Patta boutique has partnered for a third time with sneaker brand ASICS. Previous collaborative releases came in the form of the popular Gel Lyte III, a trio of Gel Lytespeeds styles, and new for this year, the Gel Saga II. Debuting in 1990, the classically styled runner dropped earlier this year in two OG colorways and is now set to be radically reworked by the good people at Patta. The following teaser images reveal an upper dominated by black and red hues, three Xs at the tongue (presumably signifying the third collaboration), synthetic leather at the heel and perf leather at the collar. Thanks to its KangaROOS PxK Hiking Collection for setting it all in motion! This Saturday, November 12th, the first pieces from Patta‘s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection is set to arrive in its boutique. The second apparel collection curated by the trend setting storefront, which encompass easy wearing graphic tees and sweatshirts. To round off the product line is a must-have of the season, Patta’s own varsity jacket with Melton wool body and leather sleeves. The rambunctious bunch from Amsterdam also added its knit rollover hat and cotton socks for good measure. The first drop comes this Saturday follow by a second drop next month, with availability through its storefront, online store, and other retailers around the world.

Amsterdam’s Patta keeps its track record of spectacular footwear collaborations intact with an upcoming release from new partner brand KangaROOS, the St. Louis-based company famous for their pocketed sneakers from the 1980s. The two names have come together to present the PxK Hiking Collection, made up of retooled versions of two hiking boot styles from the KangaROOS archive: the K2 in beige/olive, the Woodhollow in olive and Bordeaux colorways. Both models feature builds updated with Cordura nylon and premium leather, as well as details like colored eyelets, rubber PxK tabs, double branding on the outsole, and of course the trademark KangaROOS pocket. To keep you prepared for future outdoor adventures, the Woodhollow comes with a double-branded Victorinox Swiss Army Pocket Knife. The collection will drop first at Patta on November 5th, then worldwide November 12th at select retailers including Avenue, Brothers & Sisters, Colette, CNCPTS, Foot Patrol, Hanon, Norse Store, Overkill, Pigalle and Sneakersnstuff. To those attended art/design schools, the name STAEDTLER certainly rings a hint of familiarity. Long a producer of premium stationery and fine writing instruments, the Nuremberg-base company can trace its establishment back to the first pencils made by Friedrich Staedtler in 1662. Ahead of the busy back-to-school season, retailer Patta created a most unique inducement for those not looking forward to a new school year. With help from China’s Warrior Footwear, this collaborative product will include a pair of Warrior Club canvas sneakers, each as a scratch pad and etched by hand with STAEDTLER’s permanent markers. The design then underwent a waterproof coating process for durability. Because of the triple collab’s nature, a triple-x marking is on the upper of every design. In addition, each is come with a matching STAEDTLER stationery – Lumocolor 318 Permanent marker, Mars Lumograph HB pencil, Mars Plastic slide sleeve eraser and mini writing pad. Patta will also sells a corresponding graphic tee separately, all to be available tomorrow, July 30th, at Patta‘s store front in Amsterdam and Warrior Footwear’s online store.

Patta and Kangol have once again collaborated on a special headwear project for Spring/Summer 2011, this collaboration comes on the heels of the debut of the Patta Spring/Summer 2011 Collection that is available now at Patta and select retailers. The collaboration uses the iconic bell shaped Kangol Bermuda Casual hat, the same hat that has become synonymous with hip-hop group, Run DMC. These Patta x Kangol Bermuda Casual hats come knitted in the Kangol standard boucle yarn for a soft rich feel that also yields maximum comfort. The collaboration Bermuda Casual hat comes in Black, Red, or Beige and will feature contrasting top buttons as well as embroidered Patta and Kangol branding. The collection will be available starting on May 14th at Patta and other select Patta stockists.

Regarded as one of the finest boutiques in Europe, Amsterdam’s Patta has released it’s new Spring/Summer 2011 Collection that offers a fine selection of apparel and accessory items ranging from the Nena Cory Sweater knitted from premiu lambswool to the Burback Jacket that has a clean cut and finish to the exterior while the interior is lined with a bright animal alphabet print. In addition to the cut and sew offering there is a great selection of cotton tees including the Patta Logo shirt in various pastel colors as well as a new Light Script logo and an allover graphic print tee. Amsterdam’s Patta and KANGOL have collaborated once again on the Merino Wool Beanie. Originally released back in 2009, the Merino Wool Beanie from Patta and KANGOL is made from the finest and softest Merino wool available. The detailing on the beanie is inspired by the city of Amsterdam as evidenced by the cable knit design. While a Maroon and Forrest Green color of the collaboration beanie was released last year, this year’s colors include Midnight Navy/Black and Light Brown. Amsterdam’s Patta has collaborated with it’s good friend and artist, Parra, on two new collaboration t-shirts that are available now. The two t-shirts both come in an off White color, a recent favorite of Parra’s, and uses his signature oversized print and colorful design. One t-shirt showcases Parra’s typography style and the other is inspired by a Kate Bush illustration. Pick up either tee now at Patta.

One of Amsterdam’s coolest shops, Patta, has collaborated with Canadian label, Reigning Champ, to create a capsule collection of sweat suits for a little work out session this fall. The collection comprises of sweat suits in two colorways, black and grey. Each suit comes with a soft jersey snap button bomber jacket with a detachable hood. The pack also comes with matching sweat pants printed with a tonal “P” for Patta. As for Reigning Champ’s branding, it can be found as an embroidered tag on the jacket. These are currently available online via colette.

Amsterdam’s Patta has collaborated with KANGOL on a new Merino Beanie that is perfect for the colder Fall and Winter months that are ahead.
