After Parra inaugurated the collaborative gallery space between Arkitip and Incase, San Francisco’s MASH had also left their mark at Project Space, and now, British documentary photographer (currently based in New York), Janette Beckman, will be hosting a photography exhibition “Janette Beckman, Archive of Attitude” at the same spot. For those who are not familiar with Beckman, she kicked off her career photographing the punk scene in the 70s and 80s, and went on shoot for publications such as Esquire, Rolling Stones, The Times, Newsweek and more. Some of the photographs on exhibit will include the one she took of LL Cool J in 1995. The exhibition will open soon on August 12 and will be running through September 5th.

This is the week of releases and friendships and everything fun in between. Some of the most notable summer collaborations will finally be hitting racks, serving as the summer blockbusters in the industry; for some other labels, taking things outside into the sun (or sometimes back in the shade as long as one isn’t rooted to the couch like aged, rotting potato).
