RANSOM x adidas Originals pair up to introduce “The Chase” boot for their upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 collection, providing you more choices to their already stacked line-up, which includes the Chase-PRS dropped earlier this week. Its toes section is finished off in a moccasin style and the sand-colored uppers are made from high quality suede leather material. Mesh inner lining offers warmth and breathability, a perfect feature for the current cold climate. Bone-colored soles are stitched onto the boots using black welts, and the signature RANSOM logo on the heel completes the footwear. The Spring 2012 Ransom by adidas Originals collection sees a new addition to the brand’s lineup in the form of the Army Trainer Mid. Inspired by heritage military footwear, the high-top sneaker features a tastefully understated design dressed with a suede upper and reinforced with calf leather at the white toe cap and tonal heel panel. A new version of the Summit 2.0 boot from RANSOM x adidas Originals is making way to retailers as we speak. Unlike the previous releases which used solid leather materials, these footwear is made from an original upper material with custom designed camouflage patterns printed on it. Wine toned uppers are detailed by gold metal lace loops while the body of the boots are balanced out by brown shoe laces, inner lining, heel tab and soles. RANSOM and adidas Originals will be launching the Alan Crepe very soon and end clothing is taking pre-orders prior to the official release. Characterized by the smooth suede uppers, these footwear are available in Black/Bone and Spray/Tan Blend versions. Underneath the shoes, the flat crepe soles are sewn on by wooden welts made in contrasting colors. Embossed RANSOM logo embellish the outer heels and leather tongue tag provide minimal branding, while authenticating the collaboration. The current Fall/Winter 2011 collection from RANSOM x adidas Originals focused on rugged boots and footwear; conversely, these Valley FDT sneakers are basic, yet have proven to be a popular model that is included each season. Minimalist design makes these shoes versatile, and its suede uppers come in Light Blue and Red tones. Bronze-colored, metallic eyelets ensure smooth access for the tone-on-tone shoe laces. As with all of its sneakers, RANSOM’s logo is stamped onto the outer heel panel. Only the adidas trefoil logo woven tag is sewn onto the tongue, rather than double-brand labels that adorned the previous releases. Slated for mid October release, the khaki/green Summit 2.0 boots are a refinement on the authentic trekking footwear. Nubuck uppers are reinforced by premium smooth leather on the toes and heel panels, embossed by a RANSOM logo. Possessing a similar design as the Crest boots, these Mesa GTX from RANSOM x adidas Originals reinterprets the popular military boots. Side panels feature original green tree camouflage printed on canvas materials. Khaki toned premium leather materials cover the rest of the 6 inch boots and bronze eyelets accent the smooth uppers. Rather than choosing conventional black rubber soles, instead a lighter off white tone makes for an interesting contrast. Subtle RANSOM logo placement on the heels are achieved by embossing and these boots are currently available for pre-order from mita sneakers.
A perfect footwear for the winter season was conceived by RANSOM and adidas Originals and it takes inspiration from orthodox trekking boots. Premium leather uppers are printed digitally with an original snow camouflage pattern as an all over print on the Crest boots. Furthermore, it is accented by light gray collar, shoe laces and soles and leather double brand tongue tag. Bronze colored eyelets and D rings enhance the boots and with the 6 inch size, it would be a great companion to tackle the snow and rain. The latest footwear to drop from the RANSOM x adidas Originals collection is the hiking boot inspired, Bluff Mid CS. Moccasin toes accent the front view and the chukka styled boots create a classic outdoor boots. Suede like synthetic uppers are waterproofed and RANSOM logo is embossed on the outer heel section. Matching olive shoe laces are packaged as well as another set of leather laces. Last but not least, crepe soles compliments the classic silhouette and red welt accents the Earth toned footwear.
