Following up the new releases from SOPHNET. and uniform experiment, the latest items from F.C. Real Bristol will make their way into stores, the last of the trio of brands under the SOPH. empire. This season’s theme, Union Jack, might be the most straightforward from the soccer-inspired brand. With the London Olympics being held later this year, the UK supporters may want to invest in these tracksuits. The designs incorporate the Union Jack, Scottish flag, and English flag logos on the back of the Warm Up Jackets, accompanied by matching Warm Up Pants. The new season pieces will be released this Saturday, February 4th at all F.C. Real Bristol accounts across the globe.

As a new month starts, SOPHNET. is preparing to drop new items from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. There will be three pieces which will be launching this coming Friday, February 3rd 2012 and it includes FSF Light Weight Down Vest, Stretch Summer Wool 3/4 Low Waist Slacks and 23L Ballistic backpack made in conjunction with visvim. Both the down vest and wool slacks will be a great item for the coming transition period, where temperatures fluctuate unexpectedly from cool to warm. The first two items will be available from normal SOPHNET. outlets in Japan and around the world, however the Ballistic backpack is limited to SOPH. and Isetan Men’s stores in Tokyo and Osaka.

Japan’s SOPHNET. presents its video lookbook for Spring/Summer 2012, in which Hirofumi Kiyonaga compiles a series of looks highlighting the details as the primary attraction. They’re seen in the button-down oxfords with alternating colors and designs, as well as the complementary patterned scarves and distressed patchwork denim. The bright color palette is fitting for spring, and syncs perfectly with the lightweight madras and cotton fabrics. An undeniable schoolboy aesthetic tempers an otherwise sophisticated collection, injecting a bit of welcome irreverence to the trad styling. Check out the video following the click.

For Spring 2012 SOPHNET. gets together with Barbour, the brand that practically invented waterproof outerwear. Barbour‘s Bedale jacket is an English country classic, featuring extra room for layering and traditional zip-front styling with snap front placket. Additional details include two front flap pockets with snap closure plus two hand warmer pockets, as well as contrast collar with studs for an optional hood. Double vented back and patterned cotton interior round out the details. Finished in an attractive dark navy colorway, the SOPHNET. x Barbour Bedale Jacket is expected to land soon at select SOPHNET. retailers.

Japan’s SOPHNET. has began showing off what’s in store for their Spring/Summer 2012 collection, and as always Freshness has you covered with the scoop. On the footwear side of things the label is getting together with Converse, cranking out a pair of Chucks with their own twist. The SOPHNET. x CONVERSE All Star Zip Hi comes in the classic canvas in deep navy for the upper, with the side zipper in place as suggested by the name. Among the endless amount of upgrades we’ve seen on the Converse All Star Hi, the zippered look seems to be the one that does the most with the least, injecting a bit of a punk aesthetic into the sneakers. Hit the jump for the full view and stick with Freshness to get the latest info on the forthcoming SOPHNET. collection.

SOPHNET. is getting ready to deliver the premiere pieces from their Spring/Summer 2012 collection this weekend. The theme of this season is Contemporary Basic, which looks to put focus back onto their basic silhouettes. For the first delivery, fans can expect to see two styles of hooded blousons, a reversible vest, a dot patterned check shirt and two pairs of pants. Also SOPHNET. teamed up with Danner to produce a reinterpretation of their classic Postman shoes in two models. All of the items below will be reaching SOPHNET. stores and authorized dealers this Saturday, January 28th.

SOPHNET. is launching a single item from their Spring/Summer 2012 collection ahead of schedule to commemorate the new year. It is a pleasant surprise for denim fans, who are looking for good quality jeans to get them through the cold winter. These Non Washed Slim Denim Pants are made from 100% cotton, raw denim in indigo color. Its stitching is made up of orange and yellow threads, alternatively sewn on each panel. Small parts such as the top button, zipper fly, rivets, key ring and rear buckle are unified in silver, contrasting the dark pants. Underneath the leather patch on the back of the jeans, a yellow tag is stamped with X-146, indicating the denim fabric used on this item, next to the SOPHNET. logo. These jeans are already available at SOPHNET. dealers Japan wide and at NOA’S ARK in Japan.

Limited and concise, the capsule collection from Japan’s SOPHNET. and Americana label PENDLETON Woolen Mills includes just a hooded Mountain Parka, a pair of Reversible Vests, a set of Plaid Shirt, and the all-important Pendleton Blanket. While the collection will be one of the more difficult merchandises to locate this holiday season. Each item on the collection tells an intricate part of this collaborative effort. This is especially true in the integration of a special PENDLETON flannel pattern, in the shape of a scorpion. Not only it is the astrology sign of November, it signifying the month which designer Hirofumi Kiyonaga established SOPHNET. The SOPHNET. x PENDLETON – Capsule Collection is now available at SOPHNET. retail locations across Japan.

Really, it goes without saying: if you’re reading this, odds are you’re a fan of visvim, SOPHNET. – or both. Each label is a cornerstone of elite Japanese post-streetwear in it’s own right, each occupying it’s own niche: visvim represents otaku-grade devotion to quality, materials, and engineering, combining historical garment influences with ninja-grade tech. SOPHNET, is best know for an anthropology-grade re-interpretation of Americana, from classic sportswear to grungy casual wear. SOPHNET. and visvim have collaborated before, on key accessory pieces from the visvim lineup, and now they revisit the Homer tote, and the zip pouch wallet. Both are reminiscent of recent vis textile work, in the beaded canvas zip wallet from the past Spring season, or the Afghan-carpet inspired Honeyee X Visvim Capsule Collection – and they bring just a subtle co-branding hit, with the SOPH. scorpion on an unassuming cloth tag. Obviously a highly sought after and limited release; check SOPH. for details, and see images of both items after the jump.

In preparing for the cold weather, vests are a handy item to keep in your wardrobe. SOPHNET. is dropping their version entitled Hooded Down Vest, equipped with four large pockets similar to an M-65 jacket. Military theme extends onto the inner lining of vest, implemented by original camouflage patterned lining. SOPHNET. branded silver metal snap button reinforces the cover flap, ensuring wind does not get through the front zippers. Outer shell is made from Navy colored material with the hood detachable by a single zipper. This vest is already available at NOA’S ARK in Japan and should be in stock at SOPHNET. dealers worldwide.
