NEXUSVII and Timberland present another collaboration with the MIL-5H Gore-Tex Boot. We’ve seen this mid cut boot before, but this one arrives with a smooth mix of tonal midnight navy leather and canvas with a moccasin-style toe. The MIL-5H features some clean subtle branding on the tongue along with a 5 eyelet design for the leather laces. Function equals the style of the MIL-5H with the addition of an off-white mid-sole supplied by Vibram and a waterproof Gore-Tex liner. New from Timberland are three colorways of the GT Scramble Mid Leather, two in textured brown leather and a third in rich blue suede. All three mid-styled boots feature waterproof construction as well as superior comfort, thanks to an EVA midsole that provides lightweight cushioning and shock absorption. A rubber Vibram sole is good for traction on any surface, while the classic silhouette allows for ease of wear on the trail or city street. Finally, contrast coloring at the laces and outsole deliver a welcome pop of color. The Timberland GT Scramble Mid Leather is expected to land soon at Tokyo’s Styles.

When two heavyweights in the workwear industry come together, the result is nothing short of excellent. Timberland have always been known for their rugged and heavy duty product range, and they are partnering up with British Millerain Co. for these Waxed Millerain Jackets. The special waxed cotton fabric developed by British Millerain Co. allows the jacket to be water resistant while being perfectly breathable. These jackets come in two versions, equipped with four buttoned pockets on the exterior. All of the metal details were made in bronze color, adding a touch of vintage styling. via: BKRW

As a follow-up to its successful collaboration with Timberland, Japan’s NEXUSVII (Nexus 7) will be offering the new MIL 5-H Gore-Tex Boots at its retail locations. Fashioned as traditional hiking boots with an elaborate moccasin-stitched toe box, a dark navy cotton cloth accentuates the eggplant-colored leather upper. Quipped with Vibram outsole, the boots retail for ¥31,500 JP (around $403 US) and available for a limited time only.

Timberland announces its “Canvas that Cares” program, in which funds will be raised for various non-profit organizations by auctioning off custom-designed footwear from Timberland’s eco-friendly Earthkeepers line. Boots adorned with the artwork of famed musician Ringo Starr will kick off the initiative, with proceeds from the auction of the limited-edition footwear going to WaterAid, a non-profit that’s providing clean water to the world’s poorest communities. 75 pairs of the Timberland Earthkeepers City 6″ Side Zip Boot, individually signed by Starr and adorned with his original artwork, are set to hit the auction block. The boots feature a peace sign on the canvas side panel, representing the artist’s credo of peace and love, while three stars at the back denote his famous last name. Technical features include the use of Bionic canvas (twice as strong with a 30 percent faster drying time than regular canvas), and ion-mask technology by P2i that repels water and stains without compromising the fabric’s breathability.
The boots will be available on eBay, accessible through Timberland’s Canvas that Cares hub. Bidding will open at 9 pm EDT on December 1st and close December 11th at 9 pm EDT. All 75 pairs will be a size 8 — Ringo’s size — and come with two sets of laces. 25 pairs will come with a Timberland Whiteledge Recycled Nylon Packable Duffle Bag, and 10 pairs will come with a second pair of Earthkeeper 6″ boots in a range of sizes.
