Having been in the same circle of creative types for a number of years, the only thing surprising about this upcoming collaboration is why it took Eddie Cruz and Hiroshi Fujiwara so long? Right off UNDFTD‘s successes with CONVERSE Poor Man’s Weapon, Cruz unveiled the yet to be named Chuck Taylor All Star on his Instagram. While no details were given, the design looked to be predominantly red, white accents, and with logos from fragment design and UNDFTD. Rumor has it that the design might be a Valentine’s Day edition. The ongoing adidas Originals by David Beckham lineup is one usually anchored by more understated designs on the sneaker side of things. UNDFTD and PUMA continue their long-standing relationship in the sneaker world with another take on the PUMA Clyde silhouette, this time with the Snakeskin Pack. The collection includes a premium leather upper with touches of suede near the laces while the iconic Puma claws dressed up in black and gold snakeskin. Arriving in red, midnight navy, and ice white, the monochromatic uppers sit atop a white outsole with tonal laces and tongue with the PUMA Clyde brand on the side profile. UNDFTD Tokyo has teamed up with CONVERSE to produce an exclusive All Star All Good TYO Hi sneakers. The theme of these shoes revolve around the city of Tokyo. An old map of Tokyo from the Edo period is printed on the insoles, showcasing the long tradition of the capital of Japan. On the outside, number 03 is located on the outer toe to represent the city’s area code. The purple inner lining is printed with a custom designed tiger stripe camouflage, matched by purple shoe laces. Last but not the least, the uppers are made from reflective material, coordinated by a matte gray pin stripe on the foxing. These shoes are planned for release on Saturday, January 21st at select retailers in Japan including Styles in Tokyo.

From this weekend, Levi Maestro will be going on a America-wide tour dropping by thirteen cities in total, starting from the West Coast and ending up in the East Coast. The tour actually starts today in San Francisco and Levi will be heading to UNDFTD in Los Angeles tomorrow where a launch party for the Levi Maestro x VANS Vault Old Skool Decon 77 will be held. You will be able to catch up with him at the launch and enjoy some nice snacks provided by Kogi BBQ. In welcoming the holiday season, or for those doing last minute Christmas Gift shopping, Los Angeles-base retailer UNDFTD will launch its UNDFTD x PUMA Clyde Stripe Offs this Friday, December 5th. As a follow-up to the design’s immensely popular introduction earlier this year, the Fall/Winter 2011 line-up continues on the stripe-less silhouette of the PUMA Clyde. L.A.’s UNDFTD is keeping it basic for its latest holiday release: a collection made up of essentials one can never have enough of, tees and socks. There are two T-shirt styles — one emblazoned with the ominous phrase “Expect No Mercy” across the back, the other bearing an UNDFTD script logo at the center chest — in a neutral color palette limited to white, black, grey and olive. They’re joined by a trio of heathered cotton crew socks in blue, beige and olive, each adorned with UNDFTD’s signature five strikes logo at the toe. Darting across a swarth of Los Angeles night sky with his trusty DUCATI 1098, an unknown rider demonstrates the versatility of the upcoming Ballistic Collection from UNDFTD and CONVERSE. Perfectly suited for its Black Friday release, the limited collection encompasses a pair of CONVERSE Star Player High in black ballistic nylon and Academy Low with the same ballistic nylon as accents.  In addition, the collection includes A.L.I.C.E. backpack in matching stealthy black.  All will be available this coming Black Friday through all UNDFTD chapter stores and online shop.

We gave a preview of the “Expect No Mercy” Holiday 2011 collection from UNDFTD a few days ago. Now, UNDFTD have launched their unconventional lookbook, featuring a breakdancer showing their dynamic moves. The almost surreal scenery is produced by overlaying various shots into one cohesive photograph. Each look captures the raw movement of the dancer, who in turn highlights each piece from an unusual point of view. All of the featured items are already available at all UNDFTD stores nationwide and on their online store.
