The onslaught of new Vans releases at the Vans DQM General shows no sign of letting up. The latest entrant into the Spring 2012 lineup is this fantastic Vans Sk8-Hi Boat CA from the brand’s California imprint. The shoe is essentially an amalgam of the Vans core classic Sk8-Hi with a traditional boat shoe, which in this case means the addition of a moc-toe detail, leather laces and canvas quarter construction with suede at the vamp and eyestays. A brown leather pull tab and textile polka dot lining round out the features. Available in navy or white colorways, the Sk8-Hi Boat CA is in stock now at the Vans DQM General, both in-store and online.

Aside from their own line of products and retail stores, Japanese fashion giant Beauty & Youth is known for instigating high-profile collaboration projects. Their latest partnership is with the Californian brand VANS, who have produced an exclusive pair of Leopard Slip Ons for the ladies. As animal prints have been making the rounds in recent seasons, here is the version from Beauty & Youth, utilizing a leopard-printed suede leather material. The smooth leather wraps around the whole sneaker, balanced by cream-colored soles and interior. Beige-colored VANS flag tag and dual brand logos on the footbed finish off the footwear nicely. Unfortunately, these have already sold out on the Beauty & Youth online shop, but they may still be available in their retail stores in Japan, so it might be best to reach out to your Japanese contacts.

New from Vans California are two styles of the brand’s deconstructed Eras. First up is the Dress Blues/Brown Leather colorway, featuring white round laces and a build that showcases a brown leather quarter panel sandwiched between navy suede at the vamp and heel counter. Meanwhile, the Dark Shadow/Black Coffee style has a material story that sees charcoal suede at the vamp and heel, finished with a textured black leather quarter and matching round laces. Both show contrast white stitching throughout the upper plus a white midsole absent the customary foxing stripe. Leather lining and a leather Vans tag round out the details. Both colorways of the Vans Era Decon CA are available now at the Vans DQM General.

The Era is VANS‘ classic lace-up skate shoe known for its padded ankle and flexible sole, but for this upcoming release we’re presented with a distressed canvas upper, which adds a range of style to your line-up. Built with the same soft footbed, double-stitched vamp, and signature waffle sole the Era is known for, the Distressed Pack features a washed-out canvas upper in coral blue, red, or black each with silver eyelets and the woven VANS logo on the tab. Topped off with a set of white laces, this sneaker with a vintage and casual look is available now at Size? online store.

Famous for their vulcanized sneakers, VANS is adding a new model to their already extensive line up. Though the Madero is not completely new in terms of its design and aesthetics, it possesses a thinner silhouette made from a slim last, giving it an elongated forefoot. The canvas upper features matching colored shoe laces, trimming, woven flag tag, and eyelets, accentuating the basic style. Finished off with their signature waffle soles, these sneakers are currently available in black or navy colorways. These shoes cane be found at select VANS accounts around the world, or you can head over to Size? in UK, who have both styles in stock right now.

As far as fabrics and materials are concerned, you can bet that VANS have tried almost all. However, they have found an unlikely candidate for sneaker construction. The neoprene material is commonly used on wetsuits, though if the end result is anything to go by, VANS have pulled it off nicely. All three styles in this Neoprene Pack is made with the classic Era model, each sporting a wetsuit-like three color break up. There is Gray, Black and Blue versions available at VANS DQM General in NYC right now.

Before the influx of customization programs, skaters had to improvised on their own. This meant peel-apart, cutting-up, and tape-down, all to get the desirable fit. So in the tradition of skaters and the 20th anniversary of the VANS Half Cab skate shoes, VANS will drop an exclusive Half Cab each month of this year. To get things started, VANS went back to the origin of it all with skater Steve Caballero. Along with retailer Supreme, a set of 20 exclusive VANS Half Cab High will be hand-cut and duct-taped Caballero himself, just like how it was 20 years ago. Each individually numbered and signed by Caballero as well, the Supreme x VANS Half Cab – 20th Anniversary Edition will be available at Supreme locations exclusively.
