Target is continuing the Converse One Star collection for fall featuring sportswear and accessories for men and women, and footwear. The line expanded to denim, knit dresses, sweaters, graphic tees and outerwear, it also marks the debut of a vintage, rock n’ roll-inspired accessories line for men and women. The collection will be available exclusively at Target stores and at Target.com. Check out the women’s collection over at nitro:licious.
According to the press release:

“For men, rugby-striped shirting and military jackets evoke this season’s One Star style of prep school and punk rock. Distressed, long-sleeve polos, henleys, pinstripe vests, contrast collar twill blazers and weathered white button-downs with silver snap enclosures are the season’s must-have layering pieces. Inconspicuous details, including distressed rivets, appliqués, stencils and star buttons create one-of-a-kind hidden treasures, adding authenticity to each garment at a great value. Deep greens, navies and reds are accented with vintage golds and blues for a look that is uniquely One Star and effortlessly stylish. The first day of Fall is still a month away, yet, most label are gearing up for the transitional period of the year.  Enter the latest collaboration from A.R.C. Working in conjunction with lead outerwear manufacture, Penfield, the new A.R.C. x Penfield - Wind Breakers come in a lightweight package of dual layer weather proof nylon.  More than appropriate to hold back the elements and still light enough to fold into a back pack.  Adjustable hood cords and elastic waist/cuffs, each feature an unique fabric arrangement on front, a glossy nylon outcrop of the letters A.R.C. and its 3 diamonds, juxtaposed on the matte nylon surface with identical colorways.  The interior is lined with contrast nylon in trademarked A.R.C. color schemes.  Available in Purple/Red, Black/Red, and Red/Purple.

It was its ruggedness and versatility that won over the General Infantry troops during World War 2. Even when the war was over, veterans still relied on their M-65 jackets as they returned to civilian lives.  The dependability of this military wear continues today, as urbanities find their M-65 as an indispensable outerwear.

The recent partnership between FTC and SAG (SAGLIFE) brought back this classic once again.  Produced in the traditions as the original, the FTC x SAG - M-65 Jacket incorporated the same water-resistant, weather proof features. There are also key differences.  Instead the signature olive drab, the FTC x SAG version comes in all black or woodland camouflage.  Stitched on name tags have been replaced with SAG and FTC (For The City) identities.  Additional logos could be found silk-screened onto the sleeve pockets and rear shoulder patch.

Due to release in October, the jacket is now available for pre-order at the STLESS chapter of ZOZOTOWN shopping network.

There is a saying that the 3rd time is the charm.  And indeed, the 3rd collaboration between New Balance and Sweden’s sneakernstuff is one.  The 2 designs, each created seperately by SNS’ proprietors,  Erik Börjesson and Peter Jansson, reflects their individual aestheticism - Peter Jansson with the all black color scheme,  Erik Börjesson with the teal interlaced with navy and purple.  The partners decided to again use their favorite 577 as canvas, similar to SNS‘ previous New Balance collaboration.

This 3rd installment between New Balance and sneakernstuff is now available at SNS’ 2 retail locations in Sweden and its online store for a limited time only.
