After fruitless searches for quality vintage denims, Hidehiko Yamane set out to make his own from scratch with an antiquated loom he brought from the U.S. And in 1988, the brand EVISU was established. Now, well known world-wide as one of the label that launched the selvedge denim style, EVISU is setting up its first flagship store in the U.S.
Scheduled to open later this year, the new flagship store is located on Greene Street, at the heart of SoHo district of NYC. Just happened by chance, the store is right across the street from BAPE New York.
