The adidas Consortium AZX Collaboration Project has been one of the most talked about collaboration projects as of late, part of it could be the fact that adidas was able to round up 26 different Consortium retailers from all different parts of the world to collaborate on an adidas ZX model. The first 8 shoes to be released will include ACU (CLOT), Bodega, Colette, D-Mop, Limited Editions, Foot Patrol, Good Foot, and HUF.

They are some of the best known artistic individuals today. Yet, their stories and how they came about are almost unheard of, until a few years ago when artist Aaron Rose and director Joshua Leonard decided to create the documentary film “Beautiful Losers“. The film highlights how unrelated individuals came together and created one of the most profound cultural movement to camo out of the 1990s. Though largely ignored then by mainstream culture, their works are the basis of today’s popular culture.

Uploaded to YouTube last week was 2 minutes short 10.Deep created while during the photoshoot for its new Summer 2008 collection lookbook. Titled “Party While You’re Still Living”, the crew along with friends, family, and photographer Brian Cleaver hit the pool at the suburb of New Jersey to escape the NYC heat. n commemoration of another successful MEDICOM TOY Exhibition, which ended on June 30th.  Stussy created a limited edition t-shirt simple titled “Skull & Rose”. The simple white t-shirt with Stussy signature marking, along a silk-screened graphic of a few loosely arranged flowers and a skull.  A large version of the same graphic is printed on the rear.  An fairly odd imagery until a few insiders explained its symbolism for the bitter sweet moment when something great comes to a close.  The Stussy - MEDICOM TOY Exhibition 2008 Skull & Rose t-shirt is exclusively available current at Stussy Japan Web Chapter.

To liven up the then humdrum culture of London urban fashion scene, as told by designers Sofia Prantera and Russell Waterman. They “invited” Silas Holmes, an enigmatic American and their alter egos, as the creative lead for their new venture, Silas and Maria. With “his” understanding of urban culture and all that are within modern Americana, Holmes quickly transformed the label into an up-and-comer within the international fashion circle.

This year, in commemoration of Silas and Maria (or simply called SILAS by most) 10th year anniversary and its ongoing popularity. The label is launching a series of special collaborations, including this messenger bag with UK-based Michael Linnell.  If Michael Linnell is unfamiliar to most, that is because it isn’t a fashion label.  Instead, Michael Linnell is an actual mailroom & postal supplies manufacturer.  And for the last 30 years, its been the official supplier of postal carrier gears for the Royal Mail of England.  Based of the Michael Linnell’s satchel, a SILAS’ logo replaced where the “Royal Mail” imprint should on the large reflector stripe.  Additional reflective stripes can be found on the both sides of the bag.  Come in dark brown or blue and retails for JP¥ 19,950 (~US$ 190) at Japanese online retailer DEDUE within the ZOZO shopping network.
