One of the most anticipated Levi’s collaborations have finally been released and it’s all a part of the Original Fake 2nd Anniversary collection. These new pieces of denim are a part of Levi’s Japan’s collaboration series that includes past and current collaborations with Hiroshi Fujuiwara (Fenom), Staple, and more. These jeans feature the Original Fake Chompers on the back pocket and come in two different colors. You can pick these up now at Tab Device in Japan or wait for other select Original Fake retailers to receive their shipments.

Original Fake has accomplished in two years what some brands can’t accomplish in a decade. Through it’s number of collaborations with brands from New York to Tokyo the brand has positioned itself in a great place amongst streetwear enthusiasts and hypebeast. For it’s second anniversary the brand is going all out to to release some of the most talked about products this year. Kaws’ brand will be collaborating with Supreme on a highly successful “Kate Moss” tee, Stussy on a pair of sunglasses, Levi’s on a pair of premium pair of denim, Visvim on a backpack, and more. Since last season, the label has invited legends, both past and present, as collaborators to its seasonal collection. For Fall 2008, Altamont asked FiberOps and Alyasha Owerka-Moore to create special collection. Based on FiberOps’ concept of traditional American workwears with the detailing of fine urban fashion. The Altamont x FiberOps Collection will consists of 5 editions - Garage Jacket, Mohair Sweater, Moto Hoodie, El Buzzo T-Shirt, and Pro-Tex Denim. The most interesting aspect is the Pro-Tex Denim. Made with denim fabric from world renown Swift Denim Mill in Georgia, USA. Altamont actually suggest not to wash newly purchase denim the first 6 months. The wearer’s motions and habits will imprint each into the unique indigo dye from Swift Denim.

The collection will be release at the start of Fall this year.

Established by a carpenter, the Swedish workwear label Dunderdon was created on a need for premium construction yet stylish apparel for craftsmen and women alike. Since its launch in 1997, Dunderdon has enjoyed a popular following within the artisans community and beyond. Originally next door to the Supreme flagship here in New York, Dunderdon has relocated its flagship to a new, more spacious space on Howard Street, in the very trendy Meat Packing District.

Designed by Carlos Salazar, the creative director for Dunderdon’s Mens Collection. With its hand painted pine flooring and simple decoration, the interior of the new flagship replicates a traditional Swedish cottage. The new flagship will also carry the entire line of Dunderdon offerings for both men and women, including the ever in demand Workwear collection. The store will also feature exclusive merchandises not found in other Dunderdon retailers.

Last evening, 10.Deep launched its 2nd lookbook for its Spring 2008 Collection. Titled “Rise of the 10th Brigade”, the delivery 2 lookbook offers a complete reversal of the previous “Champion Life-Blue Collar, Blue Blood” collection/lookbook launched last month. In place of decadence and well-mannered setting, this second release offers a more blatant look of life here in NYC, as the crew 10.Deep go about “destroying” the original photo shoot backdrop. The graphics, along with the fabrics and colorways, are bold and specific. The silhouettes have altered as well, to a more militia/rebel inspired styling. All items will hit retail locations starting next week.

Honeyee just publish an exclusive feature on the upcoming Levi’s Japan Fenom line, a limited collection with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s FRAGMENT DESIGN. While few of the items are already made available. The feature, titled “Form Follows Function”, highlighted product such as DISCO Decoration Crush Customize, a deconstructed denim based on FM505/FM207 model that is further embellished with crystals. The Fenom line will be available exclusively at Tab Device in the trendy Aoyama neighborhood of Tokyo.

KICKS/HI created a video short for online marketing sometime ago, which became a finalist at the 2007 Pele Award, which honor unique works in advertising and design based in Hawaii. The clip, nominated for Web Commercial category, depicted a hunting party, in the depth of the tropical rainforest, in the hunt for, what else but sneakers.
