Pharrell, Chad, and Shae make up rock/pop/hip-hop music group N.E.R.D. and will be in New York City as they make their stop along the Glow in the Dark Tour. The group will also make a stop at the Billionaire Boys Club NYC flagship store. A limited number of t-shirts will be sold this Sunday, May 11th, starting at noon. The signing will happen on May 13th from 4 PM to 6 PM where those of you who purchased a shirt can get your picture taken with one of the band members in addition to getting your N.E.R.D. BBC/Ice Cream t-shirt.

While some inspired sneakers look very similar to the original, the Puma 917 has inspired references from the Chuck Taylor but takes on a brand new personality. The PUMA 917 also takes design references from the original Puma Speed Cat Mid and Puma Future Cat Mid. The outsole and foxing tape wrap up, creating a cylindrical heel shape; the sole design is fairly smooth with grooves rather than lugs; the dip in the back collar line prevents achilles tendon irritation; and the upper pattern is based on a U-throat and T-toe format to further reference the Speed Cat. This new model is named after the Porsche 917, driven by Steve McQueen in the classic 1971 movie “Le Mans”. Above are two recently colorways of the 917 Hi and Lo, the low features a plaid design and the Hi continues the Tetris theme of recent Pumas. Australian fashion label Ksubi, famed amongst many celebrities, will be collaborating on an eyewear range for Kanye West’s Pastelle line. The range was designed by George Gorrow and according to SMH, “Gorrow met West in Los Angeles over the past year to design the collection”. Come October, Ksubi for Pastelle will be released globally and “will feature limited-edition gold frames, which will sell for about $2000″.

“I love the sunnies Ksubi has produced over the years, and it’s an honour to collaborate with them on this first instalment of Pastelle frames,” West said. “George is an incredibly talented designer, and I’ve never met anyone who knew more about sunglasses and other cool stuff.” via SMH

Gourmet has been putting out some interesting sneakers for the past few months, causing a frenzy with certain Jordan fans and sneakerheads, yet they have yet to release any pieces of clothing until now. The second aspect of the Gourmet brand, clothing, has now been released at select retailers across the world including Commonwealth in Virginia Beach and Washington D.C. The tees feature interesting designs and quality colors that could hook up with some of the sneakers we’ve seen from Gourmet. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out on Gourmet as they continue to expand their line to include jewelery in the upcoming seasons.
