Giant Robot presents: Jacob Magraw-Mickelson

Jacob Magraw-Mickelson's hyper detailed, pastel-tinted world is dense with humans, animals, and emotions. Using mixed media, Magraw-Mickelson dissects the world into chunks, chips, and photos, putting it back together with precise lines and lettering. The effect of his work is equally scientific and surreal. The artists has taken part in many group shows and his contributions can be seen in McSweeney's Dear New Girl or Whatever Your Name Is and Flight comics.
