Nike's 1World collaboration project is an effort between Nike and 18 different worldwide style makers on 18 different Nike Air Force 1's. We're halfway through the collaboration project and for the 9th AF1, Nike worked with Hong Kong influencer, Michael Lau, on this Air "Crazy" Force 1. Lau looked to a psychiatric ward for inspiration on his Air Force 1 Low as it features an upper composed of White padded leather wth a tonal White quilt-patterened cross stitching. Some additional details on the shoe include dubraes that read "Crazy" on the left shoe and "Smiles" on the right shoe which pieces together, Crazysmiles, otherwise known to most as Michael Lau's line of vinyl toys. The best feature of this "Crazy" Force 1 though is the box and toy that comes along with the shoes. The box features the quilted pattern print on the entire outside of the box while the inside is big enough to hold both the Michael Lau x Nike Air "Crazy" Force 1 as well as the "Crazy Michael" toy that Lau created for the shoe. To take this a step further Lau converted his MICHAEL GALLERY into a temporary psychiatric ward where guests can walk in and look through a White padded wall through 25 different peepholes at different pieces of art he created. When asked about the project Lau had this to say, "We're all a bit crazy when it comes to sneakers, this project is very special to me because the 1World AF1 Project has allowed me to honor the legacy of Nike Air Force 1 in my own crazy way."
