Nike Sportswear's Fall/Winter 2009 CO-LAB09 series heads out from New York City after releasing The Pipe Dream Team varsity bomber jacket created by Grotesk. The collaboration series has just landed in the city of Big Ben with a new varsity jacket designed by U.K. illustrator, Mark Ward.
Ward is known for adapting British identity into his style which is heavily inspired by 80s skate culture and Americana. His bomber jacket features the iconic varsity embroidery patches with a team slogan dedicated to "Raising Hell". The Ward team mascot is equally money-minded like its predecessor created by Grotesk. The mascot which looks uncannily like Mr. Pringles with an aristocratic moustasche has dollar signs in replacement of his eyes, and a fiery halo lighting up his devilish grin.
The bomber jacket comes in two colorways, silver and black, in both men and women's sizes; other than the jacket, there are also tees featuring the same ruckus-causing slogan and mascot in black and white colorways. They are now available online via: Nikestore, so pick your team and rock the gear.
