The jewel-cut clam shell Jalou from Sony Ericsson gets a luxury treatment from the favorite Italian design duo, Dolce and Gabbana. While it comes with multimedia and calling features that are standard on cellphones today, such as A-GPS, Google Maps, E-mail, video recording, music player, 3.2 MP camera, blue tooth, full browser, built-in FM radio and a healthy Walk Mate step counter, the most important part about this cell is its design.
Don't let the girly rose-gold appearance fool you-- the rose hue is luxed out with a 24 karat gold plating. Other than the opulent shell, the cell is also pre-loaded with the standard fashion house/cellphone collaboration package-- video clips from Dolce and Gabbana's Fall/Winter 2010 runway, wallpapers and themes. In terms of accessories, a pair of gold-accented headset and three satin bags come along to protect the cell.
The limited edition Jalou will be available this coming October also in other colorways of Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine Blue and Onyx Black for those who are not too tickled by rosy pink hues.
