Air Jordan Flight 45 - Air Command Force Inspired

The Air Command Force dropped in 1991, and it's a true grail among collectors because it was never retroed and features some incredibly unique features, like the detachable pump technology that Nike briefly experimented with. Jordan Brand incorporates some of the features of the Command Force on their Flight 45 model seen here. The Air Command Force also recently inspired the well-received Billy Hoyle Hypermax, and here the most striking connection is the use of the yellow, concrete-speckled heel and the subtle seafoam blue accents. We've seen elements of Jordans make their way onto tons of subsequent releases (even from other brands), but this incorporation of a prior release outside of the Jordan line is certainly uncommon. This Flight 45 keeps the jumpman logo on the tongue while using a pattern similar to the Jordan VII to further the retro feel. Like the Air Command Force, this model uses white primarily while sprinkling in a few bold color accents. More details to follow. via: Flight Club
