Three more days till the grand opening, and Opening Ceremony had managed to infuse some Hollywood into their Tokyo store opening efforts. Enlisting the help of director Gus Van Sant (the man behind Good Will Hunting) and indie ingenue, Jena Malone (you have probably seen her in Pride and Prejudice as Keira Knightley's little sister), M Blash had created a video for the occasion highlighting also, the collaboration between Pendleton and Opening Ceremony.
Shot in the lush, rolling greens of Portland--also the heart of Pendleton-- the video exudes a post-modern vibe where a distressed Gus Van Sant holds an unconscious Jena Malone in his lap, while being harrassed by a wisp of light. Meanwhile, Jena Malone doubles as a Kung-Fu fighting nymph in the background, dueling invisible opponents. All the action happen with both Gus Van Sant and Jena Malone clad in (of course) Pendleton X Opening Ceremony gear.
