Fiat's Abarth now makes that distant dream much closer with a new Fiat Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari" that is a collaborative effort between Ferrari and Abarth engineers. This practical small city car packs a punch for those who want to satisfy their thirst for luxury and is due to debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
The compact red car with grey racing stripes sits low and packs a 1.4 litre, 16-valve turbo 4 to produce over 180 hp. The car also features an automated manual transmission with variable exhaust system, pushing the compact ride of great mobility into performance category. Keeping the importance of performance in mind and distinguishing the "Tributo Ferrari" from the rest, the ride also features 17-inch alloy wheels with sports-tuned suspension and 284mm Brembo brakes.
If put into production, this car will definitely fill a niche for the city-folks who crave a delicate balance between performance, power and mobility.
