The collaborative effort between Sony Playstation and Nike has already produced a hyperstrike Air Force 1 collaboration, but this effort is even more limited, as only 24 pairs were produced. This Air Trainer model is exemplary in it's ambitious design and execution. This model is certainly unrestrained in it's use of huge, vibrant graphics. Featuring the X, O, square, and triangle shapes from the buttons from the controller on the Sony gaming system, the aggressive 3-D design is a bit surprising at first glance. The designer at Playstation got a call that the Nike team would compose a unique Trainer just for the people at Playstation as a thank you to the Sony gaming company.
What results is a high tech, low-simplicity Trainer 1 model that features what looks like a well-executed graphic of each respective letter across the mid of the shoe. The toe area sports a gradient, almost holographic flywire portion, while the upper sports a shiny material on the heel. Another area of interest on this shoe is the sole that has clear, brightly-colored squares on the free sole that flexes with the human foot. Another gradient detail appears through the swoosh. The Playstation insignia adorns the tongue, while the heel has a digital-styled "199" on the left shoe and a controller button design on the right shoe. This won't be made available publicly, so consider yourself lucky if you manage to scoop a pair. via: SC
