Most avid runners and outdoor enthusiasts probably know that Saucony is a brand that never cuts corners on performance. Last year, Saucony collaborated with a few top-shelf sneaker boutiques--Alife and David Z. in NYC and Bodega in Boston--to craft a few lifestyle-oriented sneakers that injected some customization and style into the brand's trusted models. For this release, Saucony goes it alone on these versions of the Shadow 6000. Adapting the shoe to the rigors of the outdoors, these three shoes have been deemed the "Trail Pack"--with a reinforced toe guard above the sole and what looks to be a bit of extra padding in the toebox area for extra protection.
These bolder color schemes may indicate the direction of the brand for the near future. All three models boast a speckled midsole and interesting color choices like hunter green and orange with a greenish midsole. Inside the shoe, a multicolored lining adds a subtle detail as well. The black, gray, and neon model is a blatant reference to the legendary neon Air Max 95s which opts for a lighter gray on the midsole. Dark cinder and red appear on the final model to round out a very exciting release for Saucony. via: SnkrFrkr
