It is the fifth time that ASICS and Harajuku's sneaker boutique Gettry have worked on collaborative projects and this time they have used the technologically advanced Pro Court AR as the base. This is the second release of the same model for Gettry's 5th anniversary and this Sidekick model is kept simple and minimal making it highly wearable.
This shoe was originally developed for people with disabilities and its main feature is the ease of wearing without the need to touch the shoe laces. Easily accessible straps makes it easy for wearer to open up the whole back section of the shoes allowing the feet to come out effortlessly. The upper is matt black with yellow accents and that is balanced by yellow midsole and outsole. It also comes with a shoe bag with comic like print pattern.
