Nike introduces a new line to the sneaker community that promotes environmental preservation and an eye toward future sustainability of Native populations. N7 stands for "Next Seven"--as in the number of generations from now that Nike and N7 hopes to positively impact. Nike says a goal of the project is to support "Native communities by leveraging sport to promote active and healthy lifestyles." The collection is available now at the House of Hoops in Beverly Center, and will be made avaialable online beginning on November 7th.

The N7 Huarache is clearly a model for ballers with some nice touches like a lacelock and heel tab with what looks to be a Native touch. The tongue features the N7 logo as well. The Huarache is also a Nike Considered sneaker, which means that it is made of materials that were gleaned from other recyled footwear. Two Pegasus 26 runners will be available--one for men (in black) and one for women (in white). Both models also feature the N7 logo and Native tooling.   All profits from the N7 series go right to the Native communities, so if you want to support a good cause, get to Beverly Center now.
