As a part of the adidas Originals Five-Two-3 City Pack, adidas Originals collaborated with Japanese artist, Madsaki, on a pair of adidas Samba's. Madsaki who was from Osaka, Japan but grew up in New York City, spent a part of his life as a bike messenger in New York City. The Samba at the time when Madsaki was riding around Manhattan was the perfect shoe because of how they fit into the toe clips of the bikes. Hence the Samba was the shoe of choice when Madsaki was asked to participate in the adidas Originals Five-Two-3 City Pack artist collaboration sneaker. The shoe itself comes in the classic Samba colorway of Black with hints of White, while the materials used are a lot more premium, including a waterproof snake skin like material on the upper. These are available now at select adidas Originals' retailers including Sneakersnstuff.
