For those who have been keeping tabs on Spring/Summer 2010 trends, there is a revival of the peaceful happy, Hang Ten culture. Bright floral, tropical inspired shades and relaxed shapes have crept onto the runway and are determined to win over wardrobes with its optimism. New Balance rides on the surfing wave and will be dropping its iconic H574 sneaker in a Hawaiian sunset inspired shade soon at INVINCIBLE. While the H574 is a model rooted with hiking and mountaineering undertones, the sneaker gets closer to the beach in a mix of burnished orange deer suede and navy nylon. The back heel panel and tongue is a vacation happy gradient of navy to orange, mimicking the sunset, with the New Balance heel logo, toe and laces matching the setting orange. Navy is prevalent on the mesh toe box, nylon upper, lining, trims and soles. If the indication for island living isn't clear enough, the illustrative tongue tag is a chill embroidery of palm trees swaying in the setting sun. Will look great with monochrome surf shorts and khakis, throw a simple white tee or airy button down and call it a day with a colorful tropical drink in hand.
