Sure it was plaids galore for Japan's DELUXE in February, but for March, the label goes short, sweet and old-world. Golf and country club inspired pieces such as knit plaid polos can be worn with plaid logo socks and a pair of short khakis. Taking to the city and off the nine-hole, dandy grandfather chic striped and printed ties are cut skinny to bring a dose of youthfulness into an aged print. Other releases include more casual short-sleeved chambray shirts, fitted dark denim and short-sleeved crewneck sweatshirts. One of the most interesting pieces for March release is the Swinger cardigan. It is a remix of your favorite knit cardigan in a sporty edge—pulling ribbed cuffs with what seems like nylon and cotton fabric. Thus, the Swinger looks like a hybrid of the court-ready windbreaker and preppy cardigan.
Aside from ties, DELUXE also brings the fedora into spring by recreating it in a knitted mesh for extra ventilation.
These pieces will be released soon on Satuday, March 6. So, if you are feeling a little spring happy and are looking forward to wearing everything shorter and sweeter, do look out for them this weekend! via: DELUXE
