UNIQLO has been drawing graphics from classic mangas and animes and transferring onto the most wearable canvas (the t-shirt!) for a while now. For those who are familiar with the Japanese manga and anime scene, names like "One Piece", "The Cobra Space Pilot" and "Dr. Slump" should ring some nostalgic bells. Of course, the perennial favorite and the epic series which brought the entire anime and manga culture across the seas from Japan to stateside, "Dragonball", has also been tapped by UNIQLO for its graphic tee collection. Like the hefty series it is, UNIQLO launched a capsule collection that is impressive enough to match. The Dragonball line-up consists of ten designs while other mangas averaged around three or four. Your favorite characters such as Goku, Master Roshi and even Woolong have now found their way onto the UNIQLO short-sleeved tees. One doesn't have to be into the whole Akihabara Otaku culture to appreciate the tees. Just remember the good times you've had procrastinating from work and powering through Dragonball along with Goku. Geeky chic is definitely back in the game again.
