Without a fall, there can never be a come back. Even though the morally just and orthodox are perhaps unwilling to forgive and forget, there is no denying that Tiger Woods is coming back after his consequential scandal. Earlier in March, Tiger Woods announced his return to the professional golf scene, ending his four-month hiatus on April 8 (today) at the Masters Tournament in Augusta, GA. In prepping for Woods' return, Nike and creative firm, W+K, had created a new advertisement set to air tonight on ESPN and The Golfing Channel. The new ad features a somber and repentant Woods, witha voice over from his father, Earl Woods. In the ad, Earl questions his son "Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive. I want to find out what your thinking was. I want to find out what your feelings are. Did you learn anything?"
Perhaps controversial, but there is nothing quite as powerful as the slightly indicting voice of a father. Much less one that had passed away in 2006. Did Tiger learn? We may never know. But for the optimistic and Tiger's loyal supporters, with a marriage that seems to be on the mend and a life on track to sobriety from sex rehab, there is only one thing left to watch--actually, make that two-- the new ad and the Masters Tournament today, with the tee time at 1:42pm EST. via: ESPN/Gather
