For those who remember visvim when it first started out with sneakers, before the added Native American influences, the Japanese label was very much about simplicity and served up some of the simplest yet clean and sophisticated sneakers, during a time when sneakers were very much about colors and who can cram the most bright colors into one shoe. This season, aside from the loafers and classic mens footwear silhouettes with a casual visvim twist, the trusted sneakers are back and continue to be one of the most well-made kicks there is. The Foley Folk pack from this season dresses the Foley Folk low-top sneaker in a variety of muted shades such as black, dark brown, sandy, burgundy and navy.

Like all other visvim shoes, the sneakers are very much au naturel in eco-friendly material. The premium colored suede upper are natural, just like molded vegetable tanned arch support. Meanwhile, the shoes sit atop a natural cork footbed and midsole, and everything is hand-sewn. Unlike other shoes, visvim is all about the quality of construction and they do not skimp on production by using adhesive. The sneakers are highly breathable and absorbs moisture extremely well, thus, socks are optional...and frowned upon. Loose the socks for the summer and wear with lightweight khaki shorts or chinos. And here's to another great sneaker that will go a long way.
