A strange email came a few weeks back asking if I'd like to be the heir to one of Jacque d'Azur's perks, a weekend at Festival de Cannes and what mortal human being would say no to that! So this past weekend, I packed my bags and jetted off to the South of France, upon arrival Jacque d'Azur's assistants were on hand to greet myself and a number of other lucky heirs. Stella Artois one of the premier sponsors of Festival de Cannes played a great part in organizing the weekend on behalf of Jacque D'Azur. They transformed Le Manoir de l'Etang in the hills behind Cannes and once home to Picasso into Manoir Jacque d'Azur. Of course, a weekend at the Cannes Film Festival would not be complete without a couple of red carpet premieres and so tickets and a limo to Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and Woody Allen's You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger were handed to us. I had a great time and met some great friends along the way, take a look below for a full report of the weekend at the Cannes Film Festival.

Before we even checked in, Stella Artois already a few perfect pours waiting for the guests of Jacques.
After checking in to my room, tickets Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps at the Grande Theatre Lumiere were provided along with Jacques' limo.

On the way to the premiere the paparazzi were on full patrol!! There's no escaping them.
Spectators were also on full patrol, lining up all along the street toward the red carpet at Grande Theatre Lumiere.
That would be me.

We only drank about 8 bottles of Veuve... #notajoke (photo: Jaci Anderson)
After a long night of partying, on the second day we had lunch at the Stella Artois Lounge at the Plage Des Palms with more friends Stella Artois and Jacques.

Some very cool new friends!!
After lunch, we went back to the hotel for a short rest and were provided with tickets to You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger by Woody Allen and again Jacques limo to the red carpet.
We just so happened to have arrived as everyone was rushing in last minute.
As I've mentioned before the paparazzi was no joke.
