Not too long ago, when Freshness had a chance to chat with Levi Maestro of Maestro Knows and attempted to get the self-taught videographer/skateboarding whiz to hint at what he will be up to this year, Maestro clandestinely asked if we liked soccer. At that time, we thought "Of course! Who doesn't? With the World Cup coming up and all." Then, we bumped into Maestro at adiCup New York City last weekend, and we realized, so this is what that question was about.
In preparation and celebration of the biggest international sporting event of the year (Yes, the 2010 FIFA World Cup is what we are hinting at.) Maestro will be traveling around the world on Tour De Maestro to document the adidas adiCup. First off, Maestro stopped at New York City, not just for the first leg of the adiCup, but also to drop by Complex and visit the magazine's football club (who were also playing in the adiCup), Ace Hotel, Opening Ceremony, and the Philip Andelman photography exhibition "Three Days In Paris" at Milk Studios, which documented the photographer's three intimate days with The Beastie Boys and The Dead Weather.
Also making a special appearance in the first installment of Tour De Maestro is Maestro's new pint-sized intern with the coolest glasses, Devlin. Check out the video, and stay tuned for the next episode of Tour De Maestro, which will be shot from the other side of the planet, all the way in Tokyo.
