Freshness Week In Review: 6/14/2010 - 6/18/2010
This week is either a bout of disappointment or of victory, depending on whether you are a Lakers fan or a die-hard Celtic's loyal subject. Or, if you are not quite a sports fan, then this week might have just been like any other week. Unless, you were trying to pre-order the iPhone 4 and was extremely frustrated with the crashing servers and empty promises. Then, yes, this week might not have been so great. However, if you believe in the beauty of cosmic justice, we have proof right here that this week wasn't so bad. New releases, birthdays and anniversaries to celebrate (CLOT has turned six!) and new tunes and videos we can rock to (thanks to Mark Ronson, Uffie and Pharrell, MGMT and Ok Go). We will steer clear of discussing how Kobe performed rather uncharacteristically for the first three quarters of the game, then somehow, the team managed to pound the Celtics at the very end. And, we will also steer clear of how France lost to Mexico and how England has only tied with Algeria. On the bright side, the Argentinians are perhaps still celebrating for their wonderful victory and four magical goals (sorry to South Korea!). Okay, all sports talk aside, let's catch a quick, non-adrenaline-pumped breathe and check out what's worth nothing this week.

DRAKE x ALIFE Thank Me Now Event @ The A.R.C. x Umbro World Champions Space
This week, Drake caused a riot in New York City, and we are not exaggerating at all. And perhaps, the heat at the South Street Seaport all started from his mini concert at A.R.C. Since correlation is not causation, perhaps we will never know for sure.
