Rumors and speculations be gone for the King is finally here! After a morning full of claims and counterclaims, it is finally official, LeBron James is now part of the Twitter community! At the urging of New Orleans HornetsChris Paul, the #23 (and soon to be #6) throws in the towel today and join the micro-blog site. Already, the account has 101,272 Followers and filed his first update 30-minutes ago:

Hello World, the Real King James is in the Building "Finally". My Brother @oneandonlycp3 gas'd me up to jump on board so I'm here. Haaaa

Seen by many athletes as a vehicle to connect directly with their fans and supporters, there is a growing consensus that King James will announce his next team via Twitter, like how Lance Armstrong announced his retirement a few weeks back.
